Huge "Parts only" Phone LOT - What can I fix! 

I came to watch this video and unexpectedly saw this comment lol

sir my primary device is a haier y11c laptop,used as tele the charging pin is loose,keyboard doesn't work,several keys trackpad is water damaged battery capacity is 1.3% it just shutsoff 5mins after unplugging the only thing that works is the touch panel screen I'm using this as my primary device its using hdd 512gb which is full, 8gb ram,I'm running this on kingston usb hyperX, I want to contact you to show my device the ram is sodimm sir I wanting help offering $150 because that is my only budget need 2015 or 2017 macbook air with upgraded ram or cheap lenovo t470s or t480 my country is selling used laptops on new prices,I can't afford them. I need editing to upload tiktok videos but hardware is holding back I'll donate this device & $30 to poor fella then me,if I get upgraded machine, I'm very old subscriber,from pakistan I know my country's reputation is bad because they commit fraud & scams,I don't have enough money,I'm saving to relocate to Russia, thanks for your time & content.

I have an old galaxy s5 with android 4.4.2 that i can run only on the charger i kept it in my Garage alongside my ThinkPad X230 and my (then) broken Latitude 3330

sorry to tell u but there is a really rare case to find a phone to power on with out battary and only wall power cuz battary actually works as a jumper and if u want to power on the phone without a battary u will need to brige the 2 contacts with a cable or something but i wont recommend it cuz it can damage your phone in result u will lose all your data so dont try this and if u are going try it at your own risk i dont have any responsibility if your house burns donw or anything else happened.

In the Australian market some things don’t come or a really uncommon such as the zune which is so rare in Australia you never even see them on eBay

Xiaomi's MIUI custom android skin bottlenecks it's good hardware. Owned Redmi Note 8 and sometimes the OS is sluggish.

@@immanuelhermon I have a OnePlus 6T and it has a crack on the screen when I fell off on a road when I was getting out of a taxi. Got ugly scars on both knees and on elbow. Still consider phone's screen being the worst damage I took then

@@OmegaEnvych mi mix 3 is even sadder. It has the "swipe to unlock on the bottom", the rest is green. It fell from 1.2 meters. Now that same friend's galaxy note 10 plus fell 2 big floors without a screen protector and didn't even get a scratch.

@@immanuelhermon Well, my phone with a crack is a second one. First one fell on a floor screen down. Didn't have a single scratch but frontal camera broke. Gladly store agreed to repair or replace device on warranty. Also, several years ago I accidentally dropped company's iPhone 4s on my work and its screen was completely shattered. Thing is that you can be simply unlucky and get your phone completely destroyed with falling from one height yet in similar circumstances, other phone will be fine and not get a single scratch. I even managed to destroy a screen on the Nokia phone. This was last non-"smartphone" I ever used btw. Phone was inside its sleeve inside of the winter jacket. And its matrix was completely destroyed. Yet at the same time Samsung Tablet I had during that fall (I t was in the winter in the early morning and there was a ton of ice) didn't get a single scratch. So my luck with phones is VERY weird.

You’d get almost everything from iFixit. They sell all the tools and parts you’ll need, and they also have tutorials on how to fix stuff. To get started, you’d probably want to start with older devices. Newer ones require more skill. Maybe try an iPhone 5 or something?

Oh also Hugh when you get the priv working and you go to use it make sure you buy a case for it. The heat from your hands heats up the processor in it and it drains the battery something fierce. I put a case on mine and it works perfect with no heating issues. Just a friendly tip!

@Taylor I wasn't talking about him searching for a specific model, but about the people he will sell those phones to. Are there collectors for old phones? I can't imagine people actually using them.
