@@pat6601 Yep. Illinois was nice in the 70's and 80's. We didn't have a state government steeped in democrat corruption and insanity! Started going downhill in the 90's. By the early 2000's, many Illinois-based corporations and manufacturers began relocating to other states, because Illinois became so hostile to businesses through high taxation. Now add to a crippled economy the rampant lawlessness and Illinois now resembles a 3rd world hellhole. The left doesn't care though.
