In this video, you'll find some of the wildest, angriest, and most insane coach ejections in recent NBA history (couldn't find any clips of older incidents) featuring Doc Rivers, Steve Kerr, Gregg Popovich and more.

@@jarhead3571 ?? Which player or coach doesn't screw their team over with techs?? It's free throws for the other team and then possession. I highly doubt it is their intention and for the most part to get a tech, it happens at a part of the game that the team can usually get over it and play through....
@@brady13001 I have, boys basketball 12-14 both rec leagues and summer league for high school. the families get fucking crazy but half the time they were right about one of the refs messing up on a call including me... the difference is you have idiots like you that get all defensive when someone points out you suck at being a ref.
I just love how mad popovich gets and as soon as he's ejected, he turns around and immediately walks out. He's like, "the league ain't fining me, not today" 😂😂
Why would you respect someone for intentionally violating the rules? There is no reason to get tossed. There's certainly no reason to pretend you're going after the official -- if any of these coaches made actual contact with the official, they'd be suspended into the next ice age and fined half their salary. In what other universe does berating someone get them to do what you want them to do? You really think getting tossed is going to "show" the official? It actually pisses them off because they now have to file a report because the coach couldn't be a professional and handle things professionally. Then the coach, not the official, gets fined. Not sure how that backs anyone up, players or otherwise.
No, its called stupidity and self promotion. Few of these guys actually know the rule they're arguing about. They are mad because the call went against their team. They couldn't care less about missed calls in their favor. Passion would be caring about ALL missed calls and actually doing something about them in a professional manner. Not behaving like an ass, committing another rules infraction and risking fines and suspensions. In what area of your life does berating someone get them to do what you want them to do?
hypothesis: Pop never gets ejected unintentionally. It's almost always a method to get his players fired up, when he feels it's needed. I can't remember a game that the spurs lost after he got ejected.
It was said that Red Auerbach would do that at times, get himself ejected just to fire his teams up.....there was one game in Philly where Red felt he was being cheated by the guy running the time clock, Red got into an argument with that guy and Neil Johnston who was Philly's coach at that time, suddenly he threw a punch at Johnston, and got ejected...as he was being taken of the court past the Boston bench, he said "Russ, Cooz, you guys take over, don't let them do this to us"...they were behind at that point and came back to blow Philly out...when the players got back to the dressing room, there was Red puffing on a big cigar and wearing a huge grin on his face. He planned that whole thing
One reason why i love NBA staff is because they have so much respect for their fans. Doc Rivers absolutely lost it but he still cared to high five some of his fans at 6:14
Doc is not a guy that holds back. It's been like that since he was a player. Guy was not afraid of throwing some punches back then, surely won't be afraid now.
I think Pop's ejects, Luke Walton's eject and Steve Kerr's ejections are my faves! Doc Rivers lambasts are always the stuff of legend though for sure. Excellent video!
Lmao. That Denver player in the beginning taunting as if Denver is better than the Spurs 😂 shouldn't taunt if your team hasn't made the playoffs over the past few years
doc's is the clear cut best. it was OT, less than 20 seconds left in the game, they're down by two, and a very questionable call by the refs. then he gets a tech while walking away. all the other coaches game's weren't at as critical a point as doc's. dude was steamed!
The issue that Doc had was that the ref that he was arguing with INITIALLY (the one that called the foul) also told him to get back in his coaches' box ... which he did. but ANOTHER ref gave him the first T. I actually don't blame him for THAT.
Sixers fan here. Doc blew the season for us last Summer, even more so than Simmons, and he's going to do it again this year. I hope it gets him fired. I'm going to assume he's all worked up in this video because someone is forcing him to play a young player over a veteran.
