Disheveled just means you've been hard at work, and disheveled or not, it's always good to see a video from you. So sorry to hear about the damage to your house. Seems like the last 4 years or so have been really really rough with one major thing after another. Ahh, racing Mother Nature and trying to guess if her next move will be friend or foe. Even though I left my denison barbs in the front entryway, their tub temp got down to 61°. They are fine & now in the house but what a difference 4 feet away and a closed inner door makes. I also need to replace 2 panels in my greenhouse roof where I accidently broke through with my snowshovel this spring. Can't wait to see your shrimp results.

Great to see you back! I always enjoy the summer tub videos you make, even though I've seen all of them multiple times. I've broken down my tubs a week or 2 ago, and the yield for my M. kubotai and D. erythromicron was insane! The fry are too small to see what species they are at the moment, but I easily got 50-75 fry from maybe 10 adult fish in total. My challenge for next year is to keep the thread algae in check, since they explode in my tubs, smothering everything else. My tubs are only 20G, so it is not hard to quickly cover everything. Regardless, it is still só much fun and a treat to look at in the summer.

I was so happy to see this vid! I am also going to finish breaking down my tub pond this weekend. I needed the refresher. You inspired me to try summer tubbing. I’ve been happy with my first year results with the plants. I will see this weekend how I did with the fish. But it was so fun, it was worth it even if I don’t get a big haul of fish! I put in golden white clouds and pygmy sunfish. Last weekend I collected the white clouds and 4 mystery fry that now appear to be least killifish… Not sure how that happened but I think maybe they came in with some plant orders. Anyway, thank you for all the inspiration over the past few years! Looking forward to your next video, as always.

I've also enrolled in a Horticulture-Food and Farming program, finishing up semester 1 now. I just wanted to tell you that your videos have inspired me so much throughout the years, and your videos are a larger part of what drove me to the college program I chose. I've been able to quit the job I hated and work on the school grounds in their greenhouse and aquaponics room! I wish you all the best in future adventures, and wish I was closer to you as I'd happily assist you with your aquariums and plants. And I'm sure I'd learn a lot too!

I’m glad I didn’t put fish out this year. I missed seeing them out there but it was so much easier to tear down (I’m further north). Unfortunately not having fish led to caddisfly larvae taking over. Boy they did a number on the submerged plants. I think the perennials will pull through though but my waterlily tubers did not grow as much as I wanted them to as a result. They’re all tucked in for the winter now and I’m hoping they’ll do fine. My black magic taro got the special treatment and I’ve potted it to grow indoors with my tropicals. Looking forward to enjoying that plant through the winter
