I really want one of these Huskies as I have a motocross background and normal road bikes just don't appeal to me. Thing is, I just need to get my bike licence first!!
I'm a little in love with this bike. I'm Swedish, I know the brand is not Swedish any more but still. And I once lived on a street called Huskvarna (modern spelling) so the brand name has always been in my head. This bike intrests me a lot. I'm acctually going to test it to day at a lokal dealer.

Fuel will catch fire if it hits hot surface that is hot enough for example 280C for gasoline for its auto ignition temperature. Do you know what temp the exhaust is likely to get to?

How tall are you and does it feel quite high? I've not sat on an 890mm seat yet but I'm only 5'7'' ish and I'm worried I wont be able to touch the ground lol
Hey, thanks for your message! I'm definitely not the tallest of the bunch, so it did feel quite tall, but then I'm only 5'5! But it's not a heavy bike so it was never a worry being on my tip toes! You'd be fine at 5'7..... Hope that helps.
5 seconds in, insta subbed, i need you to enlighten me and share your wisdom! ! im looking to get my first bike! ! i just wanna make sure i make the right decision before i commit with the investment, my mate just got a 2016 street triple RX, will be dipping around London and the beautiful country roads of Kent aka "the garden of England" together! i was looking at naked bikes then supermotos and got a little lost because there so many great bikes to choose from ;any suggestions? Nice one buddy!!! Really glad you like what we do :) the street RX is an awesome bike!!!! Rode one for a fortnight in Portugal and loved it. First bike, the 701 would be a great first bike! It's powerful enough for any kind of riding yet nimble enough to beat most round town! One thing to bare in mind, I believe the service intervals might be regular on the 701. Best thing to do, test ride as many as you can before signing on the line, only you'll know what suits you best. Hope that helps buddy, happy riding!
I think track testing a 701 is irrelevant. What's it like on the street? That's where people ride. I know you mentioned commuting, but I wanted more detail. What's it like on bumpy roads? How flexible is the engine? Good thinking regarding the position of the fuel cap/tank. I agree about the ABS. I wonder whether these will be reliable. It is effectively a KTM.
Hey, thanks for your comments! As much as most will only ride on the road, some will use their 701 on the track, so the idea of track testing as well as road testing is to cover all areas for all riders. The engine is hugely flexible and is just as happy pottering through traffic at 20-30mph as it is at 80mph on the motorway and doesn't feel like its rattling its self to bits! Bumpy roads aren't an issue however your ass feels a bit soar after longer journeys! Hope this helps!
I am looking at getting a supermoto for the summer I have narrowed it down to what bike I want and its either the 701 or the 690 SMCR. I know they are basically the same bike with a few suttle differences but I really dont know which one to go for however I do prefer the colours etc of the KTM. Or should I get the Enduro version so I can have the best of both worlds as I know you cant really put enduro Rims and Tyres on the 701/690. HELP!!!
