@@BlackHart730Hyperion absorbs solar energy too,"Eternal" Hyperion was created by Johnathan Hickman in his Avengers run. The whole Squadron Supreme/Sinister was made as a tribute to the JLA back in the 70's
Hyperion and Thor.... there is a good and epic version of him teaming up with thor both act as friends and brothers but die against multiple powerful beings...
They should just make dc and marvel as one instead of cheap knock offs all the time. Hell i spose that s how we got deadpool tho...rip off of deathstroke. I mean even the normal guys name is basically the same.
@@Scarrs9064that's because Marvel did respect DC and created characters like Gladiator and the Squadron Supreme as tributes to DC. While Dc makes jokes of Marvel characters
Current blue marvel would probably be 1.... Then the Sentry (unless he's merged Sentry, then he's no.1 and it's not close), Hyperion( but you have king Hyperion which moves him pass Hulk but under sentry and BM)/Hulk( unless he's immortal, world breaker or , heart of the monster hulk which moves him passed Hyperion)beta ray bill/Thor ( current Thor has the power cosmic, Phoenix, Odin force, Thor force and the iron fist which would put him up a few notches)then wonderman... But I believe on any given day and with any given writer... Either of these places could change....
@@dphoenix03 Well said. But i did forget to mention Gladiator and the Silver Surfer(although Surfer was never known for using his strength much),and the Juggernaut.
@@azellray1077 ok... Hercules goes up there near number 3 depending on which form he could be no. 1... Juggernaut is beneath hulk if though he's beaten him a few times he's never overpowered him...silver surfer would be top 5 definitely... Gladiator has beaten just about everyone on this list but his powers are based on his self esteem...he beat Hyperion, hulk and Thor at some point... I'd put him above wonder man but I put him above regular Hyperion but beneath king Hyperion... Above juggernaut no where near merged Sentry and current Thor and Blue Marvel... Immortal hulk would destroy him....a few of these guys were on probably the most badass team ever ... Called the annihilators... Check them on... Look for them on RU-vid...
Here's a cool game, take a shot of vodka everytime the word cosmic is said. 😂😂😂😂 Great 👍🏿 videos guys. Keep up the good work with giving spotlight to some obscure characters.
Timestamp 4:19. A small mountain weighs far more than 100 tons. And for the record DC characters have much greater strength. Superman, at last official measurement, could lift over 300,000 tons.
I've wondered for a long time why official Marvel character stats cap lifting capacity at 100 tons. Colossus isn't nearly as strong as Hyperion or Sentry or Hulk, but they're measured on the same scale. That's like saying a pickup truck weighs the same as an aircraft carrier.
@@pelijer The Marvel Power Grid was always an inferior scale compared to the DC Comics Mutants and Masterminds Role Playing Game Power Scale. In Marvel their strength category goes from 1 to 7. 1) Weak: Cannot lift one's own body weight. 2) Normal: Able to lift between one's over own body weight and twice one's own body weight. 3) Peak Human: Able to lift over twice one's own body weight or up to 800 lbs. 4) Superhuman: Able to lift between 800 lbs. and 25 tons. 5) Superhuman: Able to lift between 25-75 tons. 6) Superhuman: Able to lift between 75-100 tons. 7) Incalculable: In excess of 100 tons. The Marvel's strength Number 7 is problematic as there is no distinction between someone who can lift 200 tons and someone who can lift 20,000 tons. In the DC Universe, according to the Marvel scale, 75% of DC characters would score a strength level of 7, which means Superman would be on the same level as Teen Titans' Starfire. On the contrary, the DC Strength Scale goes from 1 to 30, so Starfire scores a 12 (100 tons), while Superman scores a 23 (200,000 tons). Doomsday scores a 24 (400,000 tons). This shows that Doomsday, at the time when the scale was created, was twice as strong as Superman. With each point the DC scales doubles the feats, 12 is 100 tons, 13 is 200 tons, 14 is 400 tons, 15 is 800 tons, etc. (with some rounding up or down to keep the numbers even). It's a much better scale.
@@starbrand3726 I love M&M. Is there an an official ruling that Marvel characters cap at Str 7? I mean, Hulk held up a mountain in Infinity War at hundreds of thousands of tons.
@@pelijer The original Marvel scale was created back in the 90's. M&M Roleplaying scale was created in the 2000's. Marvel just didn't think that far ahead. After M&M came out, Marvel tried to release their own version called Marvel Universe Roleplaying Game. But it failed because they made it too complicated with modifiers and stones, and extra feats, and terrible scales. In this game the strength scale was pushed up from 1-7 to 1-10. But, all the significant changes were done in the smaller parts of the scale and the more powerful characters remained the same. Level 10 was now over 100 tons but still gave no distinction. They still lumped Thor, Silver Surfer, and Hulk at level 10. (Although The Hulk has an asterisk next to his entry reminding players that the madder Hulk gets the stronger he becomes.) But they still never broke their strength down. Exactly how strong is the Hulk compared to Thor? We'll never know. Although this new scale did work well for lower powered characters like Spider-Man and Rogue. For example Spider-Man scores a 5 (2-5 tons), while Rogue scores an 8 (25-50 tons). This allows you to see how much stronger Rogue is.
Marvel doesn't use their superman well. They're around for a story arc or two then they vanish. Weather it's Hyperion, Gladiator, Blue Marvel, or Sentry. Keep them in the fans eye and USE them.
It's because they are fundamentally against the Stan Lee philosophy of flawed heroes are more interesting. He seemed to have been correct. Spider-Man is the definitive Marvel Character from the early 1960's onward. Superman-like beings should own him and others like The Thing from the Fantastic Four, etc. They are too powerful, with quality, realistic writing, they would destroy them, as I said about Homelander vs them. The fanboys wouldn't hear of it, so, they would refuse to buy comics where their favorite character gets beaten to a pulp.
Who would you guys cast as Hyperion? My suggestions are; Mike O'Hearn (but his age may be a factor, even though he diesnt look 54, he is the spitting image of Hyperion) Jensen Ackles would be great Or Homelander himself Anthony Starr
13:06 good one when you said Hyperion surviving sub-zero Temperatures would make Elsa Shiver, Disney vs Marvel right there, But if Elsa met Hyperion would she fall In love with him or would she like Spider-Man more
I like the version in squadron supreme revamp from the guy who created Babylon five his name escapes me at the moment That was a good series when it started then fell off
What? “Faster than your morning commute”? Isn’t the whole morning commute supposed to mean very slow? I didn’t get that analogy, simile, or whatever that’s supposed to be, pardon my shitty grammar definitions.
I've often said that I'm glad that you narrate the longer videos and I still am. This one wasn't as enjoyable for me, I think you were trying too hard to be funny it it wasn't working for me. 2 things that I feel are overused in MV is the phrase 'But wait...there's more' and 'the annals of history'. Not a thumbs down but unfortunately not worth a thumbs up either. Sorry.
The fact that Hyperion is an Eternal places him head and shoulders above Superman. You people really need to read an Eternal's comic to know what I'm talking about.
seeing as hes a off brand superman..... he has the opportunity to kill him, can he succeed..... depends. Same for Blue Marvel, Thor, Sentry... theyre all superman clones.
Thor is no Superman clone. Superman is a Thor wannabe. And a John Carter ripoff. Thor is a mythical legend and was a religious figure. Superman is none of those. Quite frankly, Superman was already dead by the 1960s and still struggles to be relevant.
@@demigodt34 knull ripped apart the sentry. He got a taste of his own medicine. I believe next time we see sentry it would be completely different from the one we all knew because the void was knull pet.
You said allot but not much at all. To get to the point is the best thing and could have been done in 5 minutes. We know he is a copy of superman but could he beat Superman. Answer maybe certain versions but not really but even King Hyperion is not strong enough to beat certain version of Superman because Superman is a plot device at certain times and he is as strong as the situation needs it to be. The verdict didn't even state who would win which means you spent over 20 minutes not even answering the first question in the title you have here.
Anyone who thinks that Quicksilver could even keep up with anyone in The Flash family (including Jay Garrick because he has access to The Speed Force now) doesn't actually read comics, and certainly doesn't know anything about them!
Dude comparing his speed to the Flash makes you look like you know nothing about these characters, Hyperion can run Mach 4 according to you, [not exaggerating] the Flash runs faster then Mach 32Trillion ... Hyperion running Mach 4 means hes runing 4 times the speed of Sound, the Flash runs 16 Trillion x the speed of LIGHT.
Whoever writes the scripts for these videos should check out this new invention called a thesaurus. Just look up a word and itll tell you other words that have similar meanings so you dont find yourself using the same word dozens of times a minute. I guess you havent noticed but the words "cosmic" and "cosmos" are said in your videos at an average rate of about 95 times every 10 minutes. I can not watch these garbage videos that sound like they were scripted by someone who has the writing skills of an 8 year old whose first language isnt english. You should also try talking about something you actually know things about instead of just picking whatever you think is popular, going to Wikipedia, and copying whatever they have to say about the topic. "Its so cosmicly unbearable that the cosmos ordered a cosmic cosmo at a cosmic bar and didnt leave a cosmic tip like some kind of cosmic cosmo cosmos jerk. If only they were cosmically cosmic in the cosmic cosmo bar that exists somewhere in the cosmos." This really isn't that far off from something you'd hear in one of their videos.
Superman beats Hyperion, sentry, and gladiator. Flash (Barry and Wally) is way faster than quicksilver, and according to death battle ironman beats batman.
@@homelander2243 Flash(Berry/Wally) is speed its self. How can someone like quicksilver be as fast as the ones who basically created the concept of speed hence the speed force? Superman is a lot stronger than what people give him credit for. Once gladiator realizes that Superman can stand up to him he will get depressed and lose power. Sentry and Hyperion have limits and if hulk could fight them to a standstill or beat them it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that Superman couldn't beat them. Superman's villains are Gods, aliens, and immortals. Plus, (in cannon) it was stated Superman holds back majority of the time. As far as Batman vs Ironman goes I don't agree with what death battle feels about it but it makes sense.
@@DXIII_365 so? Quicksilver has always been almost instantaneous with running. Berry is slower than Wally and they’re both slower than reverse flash and even his speed isn’t almost instantaneous
@@homelander2243 All the Flashes could literately outrun time and death which are physical concepts of death and time. There isn't any feat in quicksilvers history that can compare to that.
How many times are you gonna say cosmic, and how many times are you going to make an annoying lazy analogy? I can't stand this guy. Someone sick hyperion on him to give him a cosmic beat down like he has a cosmic bully on speed dial. Fire this guy.
