That surgeon needs to be recognized on a major scale. Never ever would you see a doctor pray over a patient. But also....you had me in my feelings at the start Lynette!! Had me all teary eyed. And then here comes Stanley. Longest 6 weeks ever huh

I have watched ALOT of hysterectomy videos in the last few weeks, and this one is BY FAR the best one I've seen! I really hope when I have mine done on January7th, that my recovery is even 1/2 as good as yours! You are definitely a trooper! I also love how your Dr. prayed for you before surgery. This is my very 1st time being put under and I'm so nervous about it. Nervous about the recovery also! But you did great! And I love love love the support that your husband gives you through this process!Much love!

I hope all is well! I know what you were going through that brings back memories. I was so scared and so nervous but in the end I was glad it was over! Things have changed so much during the years. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days until I could go home. That recovery pain ain’t no joke. But I’m glad you’re feeling better and telling your story. You two are my favorite couple on RU-vid!

The day I had my surgery I was so lethargic I couldn’t keep my eyes open longer than 15 minutes. Maybe less. I was talking out my head. I finally realized. I think I keep asking this same question. 😂. I had to stay overnight which was horrible. I couldn’t sleep, the alarms going off, the bed pressurizing, the hourly checks. I was so ready to get home and rest better. 😂.

Hey Lynette! I had my total hysterectomy last Thursday, my only issue has been that they jacked up my throat during intubation, I had an allergic reaction to the throat spray to help with the pain of that injury and found out today (day 4 post op) that I got strep throat on top of that! Girl if it aint one thing it's another BUT as far as the stomach and the actual recovery there, it's been managed with Tylenol and Advil. I took 2 oxy on the first day home and that was it. All the "1s and 2s" been moving like clockwork thanks to the miralax and no gas pain thanks to the tea you recommended! OH! The belly band was the GAMECHANGER!! Thank you so much for all your insight, tips and tricks.

You get to go home!? That’s great. They told me I have to stay 2 days In the hospital afterwards. I’m having to get the c-section cut as well. They’ll be going on top of my c-sec scar.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have a question, my surgery is Friday next week at 1 pm. I am not allowed to eat after 12am the night before but I get the shakes without food for that long...my question is what drinks do they allow that morning? Can I drink broth?
