As much as Charlie was the main character you cannot minimize Jon Cryer's role as his do good-get-nothing loser brother... He played it to perfection. To me the main reason why the sitcom didn't work when they replaced Sheen with Kutcher is that they took away the natural bond the brothers shared and their disrespect for their mother and shared hatred of Judith....those were among the funniest episodes... All those elements made the show funny...And trying to save it bringing more sex in it didn't work either. I've seen them try once it it wasn't going to do it .. I can't say I watched more than 2 minutes of an episode with Walden in it... But I regularly watch them here.... the old ones...

As someone who got drunk on his last birthday party (starting the night before) and spent the first couple hours of being an adult throwing up, I can relate to Jake in this video quite well.
The cab scene , the cab driver dominates the scene, without even speaking a word. His looks of being interested, horrified, condescension, all at the same time.
I always loved the "bit players" in this series. In this collection, the taxi driver. In others they include the waiter in the restaurant, the mechanic when Kandi's car catches fire, the pizza guy, there are so many and every one a jewel!
I love Berta. She was funniest one on the show. And every movie she was in she owned her part. Great actress. Funny. Professionalism galore. Miss her. 🕊
VixXstazosJOB What The Big Bang Thoery does way better though are the last few seasons and being alive! TBBT feels so alive and Joyful because a lot of people are involved! But as a whole, Two and a Half Men is really funnier to watch and pretty embarassing for its characters in parts! I love it!

Season 1 - The show was finding its footing. Despite this, it was funny. While it had its sex jokes which still made up 60% of the show, it always delivered a theme and a purpose. Charlie cared for Alan and Jake, and it was new for him. Season 2 - Almost the same as Season 1, but the show had found its groove. We knew what every character was and how they acted. Jake was still a young kid and Alan and Judith had separated, so she started hating him more. Season 3 - With Judith out of the picture relationship wise, Alan starts having longer lasting relationships. Most notably, Kandi is one. Charlie starts having meaningful relationships, her name is Mia. Jake starts developing a sense of coherence to his father and uncle, but at the same time starts to become less wise and more stupid. Season 4 - Mia’s gone, Kandi’s on and off, and Alan starts to become what he eventually is. Charlie starts to feel a little more resentful towards Alan, but for good reason. He was stupid enough to waste money on his wife and still get kicked out. So at this point it was like, enough is enough. Jake gets older and becomes more of a simpleton. Season 5 - This is when Jake also starts to transform. At this point, the little kid becomes the moody teen. Alan and Charlie continue to do their thing, while Charlie seems to either mock or show a disliking for Alan, but again, it’s kind of justified. Despite this, they hang through. Season 6 - Jake begins to date girls and hang out with friends that naturally Alan and Charlie despise because of their teenage attitude. Charlie begins dating Chelsea, who becomes a recurring character in the series. Judith has already begins dating Herb, but now they’re married and Judith becomes pregnant. This creates a new story line where Alan believes that Herb’s kid is actually his because he and Judith had unprotected sex nine months before the child’s birth. Season 7 - At this point, Charlie really begins to hate Alan. Not to mention Alan starts to become a plan douche bag. Jake becomes even stupider. Not only that, he shows a disliking for his father. Mainly because he is a teenager and that’s how they are, but everybody hates Alan at this point. There is a reason to not like Alan, but he becomes a punch line for the show. Chelsea is a big part of the season. This opens the door for Charlie to start showing some development as a person because of her. Season 8 - Chelsea’s gone, Jake spends most of his time with Eldridge, and Alan begins dating his mother, Lyndsey. Charlie now fully begins hating his brother and every episode tells him to get out of his house, whether it’s a clever joke or a plain statement. Season 9 - Charlie’s supposedly dead, and because of Charlie Sheen’s dispute with Chuck Lorre, Chuck uses this to use Charlie as a punching bag to make Sheen’s character look bad. Walden comes into the picture. He is introduced as an immature and innocent man. For the entire season, Walden and Alan develop a good friendship, with Alan showing a lot of respect for him, while Walden is always there for him. Season 10 - Jake starts to appear less and less. Charlie is gone, and it’s down to Alan and Walden. At this time, Walden starts to mature a bit and Alan becomes even more of a douche, but this doesn’t affect their friendship. Walden is always there for Alan. Also, Jake begins to show a liking for his father after all those years of seeming hatred. Season 11 - Jake is gone. Charlie is gone. Jenny is now a recurring character and lives with Alan and Walden. She is a lesbian and shares the common traits as her father, Charlie, such as womanizing and drinking. Alan is still dating Lyndsey, and it starts to get even more serious. Season 12 - Jenny is gone, and Walden adopts a kid named Louis. Berta goes from strongly disliking Alan to really liking him. Alan becomes a little less of a leech and focuses on Louis himself. At the end, Alan proposes to Lyndsey and she says yes, so it seems they get married. In the finale, Charlie is back in the center of the show, until he crushed by a piano. Chuck Lorre is also struck by the piano. That is the best part. Two and a Half Men started out as a show that was what is always was, a story that featured the life of a successful guy and his much less successful guy. It represented guys and while made fun of what guys do, it also showed the way we think and showed our side. As the case for many shows, it starts to narrow down in character development. Charlie hates Alan, Alan is a leech, and Jake is a pothead who hates his father (pretty much everyone hates Alan). In my opinion, Seasons 1-4 were the best because Jake was still a kid, and the show was really good at finding their footing. At some point, it lost its creativity, but it was still very funny. Which was why it never lost its touch. Because it made us laugh, which was its point. Lorre made a mistake letting Charlie go, but Charlie also made the mistake of letting himself go. The show could’ve had at least 5 more years until they ran out of ideas. We’ll never know.
It’s like I always say. The show was the best when it was “2 and a half men,”! When it became “3 guys one cheap, one drunk and one just plain stupid.” Is when it became a little downgraded. Until it eventually evolved into “1 cheap, 1 stupid and 1…. Ummm…. Who are you again?”
Never said "never again", but the worst I got was the night of my college graduation commencement ceremony. Boy was that a celebration! Still a fun story to this day
You missed the one where they are all out to dinner and Alan gets drunk because he can never get approval or praise from his mother after he is featured in a newspaper article. He has the worst hangover the next morning - hilarious!

ASHTON wasn't even bad he was just a tad weaker replacement to finish things off - TAAHM Comment Section can make you crazy lol, all i want is to read good arguments about the things present in video. In a way Berta had a right to show she didn’t care about jake’s hangover since she has been always cleaning Charlie’s mess for years even though she’s been paid to do that.
There actually is a sure fire way cure for hangovers, at least for me: at least half a gallon of water, few slices of bread, and aspirin/Tylenol/Advil etc
the way Charlie was written and performed is the reason that made this show great.... supporting characters make sense only if he is there.... wish things would have went differently....
The never stop drinking is true. Bad hangover? Drink one or two beers and you’ll feel right again. It sounds like total malarkey but it’s worked well. Chipotle helps too
