Nguyen Long --- No,you are not the only one. Before Indian Wells, i knew who Naomi was but i didn't pay much attention. Her winning speech at Indian Wells was so cute, so original. Even though she struggled her next three hard court tournaments ,i was sold on her for good and forever. Naomi is so adorable and sweet.She is an amazing tennis player.I was elated and so happy for her winning the U.S. Open.

@@tomatoandpotato1971 Serena paves the way for her so that when a shy, humble girl like her comes around she won't have to face sexism, racism in tennis she will only need to just play tennis. Imagine what Serena's career would look like when she started if she were shy like Naomi: Women tennis player would not have equal pay today. Also, remember that game when Serena faced Jennifer Capriati in 2004. Serena lost that US Open bcoz of 4 outrageous wrong calls. The Challenge System got implemented only after Serena strongly blamed - rightfully so - the officials for her loss. So, Serena has change the game of tennis so that a player like Naomi can shine.
Hollywood is so confused by Naomi.. she is neither Narcissistic, Materialistic nor superficial. She is modest, humble, soft spoken yet firm and assertive and very very smart. Also she has that one thing sorely missing in Hollywood. Innocence
Before all the interviews I saw her in a couple of tournaments & love her aggressive style but now oh My God she is so sweet and adorable young lady. Hope she maintain that personality!
This is how tennis should be played. Focus and drive to reach the top, but stay humble. She is so real. Humble, polite, charming, pleasant, right level of enthusiasm -- but does not appear to be fake and contrived. Great role model for the new generation and ambassador for tennis! Wish her the best!
