The thing I don't like about these unclaimed/returned merch unboxings is that people always quote full retail as the value, and we all know you ain't gettin' full retail for this stuff! So thanks for mentioning that you're going to follow up with actual values in the next video. I'll be waiting for that one.
Generally this sort of stuff sells "slowly" but for 75% or so of retail. It depends on how much work they want to put in listing and piecing out/parting out the damaged and partials. They will break even pretty easy, but that will cherry pick the easy to sell stuff out. Profits gonna take much longer to trickle in. You can't make a living off two pallets, you have to do 2 every month. ITs the same for all these types of pallet, regardless of category. Its fairly easy to break even, if you do all the work to photograph and list all the items. If you could get anything close to retail for everything easily the company would have done it themselves. Market prices are driven by the "easy return value." What sucks is the stuff that is high value but low turnover. I have stuff that has been on e-Bay forever that is worth too much to toss but not enough to discount much more. How many Ducati riders are there out there that 1) do all their own work and 2) are cutting corners on the kits enough to buy of secondary markets and 3) want that kit? If it was easy to dump it wouldn't be on the pallet.
@@katherynscleaning5807 issue is trolls will make new ebay accounts and "buy" products and will never pay so they have to relist the item. This might not happen but it happened last time they sold a bike on RU-vid.
I started watching almost 2 years ago, before I got my first bike. Your content is absolutely amazing. As a fellow biker, and someone who like to buy and resell stuff, this pallet video might be my favorite so far!! I tell anyone who will listen to me to go watch your channel. Keep it up, you’ve taught me a lot!
A large box, full of smaller boxes, which when you open, also contain some even smaller, tiny boxes, which actually hold the micro sized boxes of the actual product… rubber washers
how is it he got a pallet of normal, actually good stuff? these pallets always are just random misc stuff nobody ever wanted so they sat unsold in some warehouse
I love that you’re working towards getting more people on bikes! I’m part of the group that doesn’t have a bike haha but watching your videos the last couple years, I’ve been looking for one! Love your content!
I have to say, you guys have single handedly gotten me wanting to get a bike again. I’m planning on getting one after my upcoming deployment, can’t decide just what I want yet. But I know you guys have been the catalyst to getting me back riding!
Looking forward to your next adventures Noraly! As a fellow biker and gold exploration drill systems engineer in a few countries you passed through, I have enjoyed your blogs and knowledge where ever you went. Put Ireland on your next trip!
This is freaking awesome!!!! You are a amazing man Sean!!!! I have a moped but I’ve been aching to get a motorcycle. Hopefully we can get you to number one!!!
Keep those helmets to give out when you give away bikes xD But yeah, the only bike i own is a downhill bike, not a motorbike of any sorts. I just generally don't have the money to do these stupidly expensive tests over here in the uk, let alone to actually buy a fairly decent bike.
Love the vid and change up. Don't know why but these type of vids tend to be a personal fav, they're always fun to watch. Icon's helmets are pretty slick looking especially the Airflight. Keep it up boys 🤘
That's so awesome you guys are going to try and help your subs and get more folks on 2 wheels! Love the idea and I'm going to buy up some shave packs for Xmas gifts to help the community out!
Hello I’ve been watching you guys for prob the past year. I’m 44 years old and have been on dirt bike my whole life. Has always been a big passion of mine, I love the looks and ride style of the buel. But you are incredibly very inspirational to me and everyone that gets the privilege to watch or know you
I looked at a Buel blast that had been sitting for a while researching it though said they were hit or miss for dependability. I love my duel sport Honda though.
Hey Tyler, yeah I'm 47, rode mx my whole life. Could ride my Honda 50z before I could ride a pedal bike. Just switched to street bikes a couple years ago. I love dirt bikes and loved riding with my son. My recovery time has greatly increased from a weekend at the track and plus my sin was getting close to being able to keep up, so it was a tough decision to move on to something else.
As a old timer Bike rider at 73 years old and wishing I could afford a working motorcycle, I love watching your videos Keep up the great content! I am one of those in the cant afford one category. But still enjoy watch. Be safe and God bless you and your crew.
I am going to refer and have family buy as many shavers as I can. I had to sell my bikes to care for my sick son as well as become my sisters guardian after our mom passed away. She has cerebral palsy and I obviously would never ever leave her side for anything. That said, I miss my weekend cruises or even just washing my bike and taking it to work. There is a certain peace about riding that I miss very much. Maybe seeing this video is my way to have a chance at riding again. Good luck everyone, let's try to get the W on this. Even if I didnt win, it would be awesome to know that I helped someone else get a bike.
This was a great episode! I myself have been burned buying Amazon returned goods at the auctions but it’s exciting to imagine making 4x what you paid! That said, I happen to have a Ducati hypermotard, so if any of those Ducati boxes have anything for me… I’d buy them off you!
basicly its worth atleast 50% of there new price if its still new. so i would assume you can get between 65% till 75% of the retail price on the new stuff and 50% if its a bit used/damaged so you be looking at like 30k resell value at best, probaly 25k reasonable
Your channel is awesome. Love what you do for people that ride. I love to ride but unfortunately I cant even afford a vehicle. The inflation has costed me everything. But god has a plan and this is part of it. Keep it up my dream is to hang out and ride with you and Craig that man is special.
I love this channel Sean keep doing what you do. You inspire me with your bible verses and to every day to keep riding my bike! Bless you and have an amazing Friday!
I remember my Dad was a Motorcycle nut like me. He had a old Indian motorcycle with a side car yellow in color I he kept it in a Indian shop where he worked. Said he was screaming down an old country road poped over a hill and plowed into a Hurd of turkeys. Stoped in a filing station to clean up and the attendant looked at him in horror with him covered in blood and guts, but he was just fine stinging a bit from the incident. I lover how he could tell his stories. Take care and be safe.
Honestly it dose get hard sometimes to keep your bikes on the road I have 2 kids and my job is very demanding iv just had to sell my pride and joy iv been longing for the day I can’t have another bike and it’s not the bike that matters it’s the ride the feeling of absolute freedom there not to much else I can think of that brings you to that natural high you get when cruising through some smooth angled corners you’ve inspired me to start building my own bike in the near future thanks Sean.
Been awhile! I started watching back in 2020, when I was in the hospital after a rich lady headed to Walmart wrecked me on my Road King in Colorado Springs! After my ex spent up my settlement, I ended up getting a job at Autozone and living in my Dodge Caravan for well over a year. I’m not back on the road and I can barely walk! Lol BUT, you guys have done well and gotten more entertaining! I still appreciate what y’all do, and I wish I’d come to your shop and gotten a bike with a tank shifter b4 I blew money on my ex and her terrible child! I’d buy a razor blade kit if I could, but I’m living off of about $100 every 2 weeks. My life mostly sucks, but at least I’m not blind or in a wheelchair. My 08 Caravan still starts. And, I haven’t been struck by lightning yet, but I know it’s coming. 🤠 I’m so glad to see you prospering and hope for mercy for myself, eventually. 💪💪❤️ Pete from The Springs
I became a hardcore alcoholic after she took off, after the money was gone. But, I checked into St Francis, and after 2-weeks in ICU, I was done detoxing. I haven’t had a drink since my baby girl’s 12th birthday, August 7, 2021. And, I lost some weight. I haven’t given up trying! 🤠
this is one of the coolest videos you guys have done. sold my ktm 300 last month after I got hurt at work to make sure our bills were taken care and for my family to live. hoping to get another in spring! refreshing to see a faith/ Christian based channel on here that does good things and puts the word out there about Jesus! keep on keeping on gents!!!!
Beginner rider here! Had my endorsement for 4 hrs now but have never been able to afford a bike! But now for the first time in my life I’m in a position where I can probably buy my first motorcycle! However, I can really only afford a cheap preowned beater bike to start with. Yet that’s not my dream bike. My dream bike is a Ducati Scrambler black Icon with red tank panels that has “Ducati“ etched in white. (Preferably 2020 or newer so it comes with the gear indicator on the display screen. And definitely all the crash bars and protectors). I truly want this for my first motorcycle. I want this to be the motorcycle that I invest in so that I can keep it in my garage for a long time to come. I want this to be the motorcycle that I care for and value, and not the beater motorcycle that I trash then pass on.
@@_Yep_Yep_ yep. I think they’re hand made. Took around 8 months to get it. It’s literally under 500g. No lights, no bolts, nothing. Just carbon fibre and painted. I don’t ride it anymore. It’s in the man cave.
Perfect timing as usual, I just shaved my beard yesterday and my cheap garbage razor got me, I own a Surron X I turned into a street legal dual sport, but as much as I love that bike not that much range stock battery and controller wise, I’ve had the Chinese atv like y’all did for a video , almost built my own mini bike like the video, love the content, I’m here to help! Would love to help get some more two wheelers out here for the people, plus hopefully I can get a bike that can put some miles down please haha😂
I love your channel. With them pushing for the hire of all these new IRS agents, please be careful, bro. This is the kind of stuff they'll be looking for to audit you and others. You're legit, we know that. There are alot of RU-vidrs that are going to get audited if this goes through. Stay on your Ps & Qs. Thanks for the great content and spiritual messages.
THAT is the kicker.......I've watched a LOT of amazon return pallet videos etc and while there IS value there, it's extremely time consuming to get rid of all the stuff. Not just the handling, but photographing and listing them on ebay or kijiji or craig's list.
@@muskokamike127 yes, it’s a lot of work taking photos, posting ads, getting boxes, packing and printing labels, going to the post office! The thrill of opening that pallet wears off quickly.
Probably depends on return policies. Some companies do a field destroy rather than sending the item back to the manufacturer. I used to work at Home Depot and some stuff that got returned usually got thrown away even it it looked brand new.
7 year Cycle Gear employee here! What you're going through is some of our online returns that we couldn't redeem sellable as brand new condition. Those skus are comotos skus. Basically Revzilla, Cycle Gear and J&P products. Great find, you'll be surprised at what we throw away!
@@markbrandsen1674 you don’t have to watch his videos or you can skip. if you don’t believe in it then it should mean nothing to you even the fact that you hear it shouldn’t bother you.
The used helmet is likely a product return. Those are often sent to third party processing firms who are supposed to verify the return and destroy/recycle them.
@@lasskinn474 hahha ave is bad ass.....I haven't bought one yet, they aren't available in Canada but I will one day own a bosch nano chainsaw. Not because I need one, but damn everyone should have one! hahahaha
i care about you and the viewer, do you wear a size 5XL ? if so email us and we will send it to you. as long as your in the states. bikesandbeardsgear.com
I had a ninja 250 a long time ago and a ex friend wrecked it, said he would fix it but never did so I just sold it back to the shop and haven’t had one since :/ bummer I know. BUT even though I don’t have one I still like to keep up with the current styles and brands because it’s in my blood and you guys with the awesome content and your faith mixed in is what made me subscribe. Keep up the awesome work guys !
Man, my family has fallen on tough times, so I sold my old Harley just a few weeks ago. It was a 2004 softail, red and silver. I had intended on keeping it forever, so I rebuilt the bottom end with s&s parts (timken bearings, 509 cams, cam plate, hi-flo oil pump, hydraulic tensioners) last spring. Honestly, I didn’t ride it much in the 5 years it was mine, but I sure do miss it. That little 88ci wasn’t much to brag about, but it still cruised around alright. Figured I’d post this here and join the many others who regret getting rid of their machines. You gotta do what you gotta do I guess! 👍
I wear size 28 and just so happen to need a new pair of riding pants lol. Great video brother. And I'm glad you made out with profitable with the pallets
One thing about returns to know is that the vast majority of manufacturers don't even actually take the returned items back. Actually taking custody of returned items back means that they have to pay for full return shipping, labor hours dealing with the returned merchandise, and then actually having to store them somewhere, while knowing that there is a very very high chance of something being wrong with the items preventing easy re-sale. It is easier to just eat the cost of it all, give/sell the merchandise to a pallet re-sale company, and then just focus on the actual main business processes. This is why Amazon has taken their return process to partnering with local brick and mortar stores. The brick and mortar stores(such as Kohl's) ensure that at least the right box is being returned, and then they just ship it off to one of the companies that do the pallet re-sale by bulk, which have a contract with Amazon to buy the returns by weight.
Are you guys willing to sell any of the icon air flight helmets if they are in a serviceable condition? If so do you have a medium in there somewhere? And how much?
I know, from working inside a motorcycle shop, with multiple shops throughout the countries, for many years, that a lot of products get send in between shops to refill stock throughout all store locations. That might be why you're finding all these random stuff in helmet boxes lol.
I’ll take a L or XL helmet!! 😅 I’m over here in Milwaukee! Man, love your guys’ content. I’m always checking to see if a new video is up. Side note, I bought my first bike, an 883 Sportster, and I already want a faster one! Got a 1200 for trade?? 😂 keep it up Sean! Send regards to Craig!
Been watching you for years. Getting a bike has been my dream since I was a kid but lately it was something in the back of my head until my little brother jumped the gun and got one. And I saw a deal that was too good to pass up and got my own.
Great video man. I'm a retail mgr. In a depot store . ..you are still gonna have to price a lot of stuff as "stock offer" meaning slash prices off from SRP. since a lot are incomplete or slightly damaged.. it'll take a lotta work to make this cash back . Unless you arrange something in a big store.. good luck .. Oh yeah. Ive been riding for a long time but I'm using a Honda Vario 125cc scooter nowadays ..gave up my car and my Honda 200xr. Hard times but I still ride . I miss my XR though. And I still need a motorcycle to see my sister 5 who can't travel
I’m loving all the gear! Was hoping to swing by when I was in PA last year picking up a commando, but you were closed. Haven’t seen any old British bikes on the channel. No interest?
I have bought pallets before and the value they give at purchase or at auction is way over priced. They do it to make the sale or to raise the bidding at a auction. How they come up with the numbers is no matter the condition of the items they put a value of the item brand new full retail price at time of manufacture not the price of something out of manufacturing or price if it is damaged.
Currently serving in the AirForce and speaking on behalf of all veterans, riding motorcycles is an amazing way to let go and help with mental health. Please help our Veterans! Would definitely love to start riding again but LIFE. Reach out and help me help my brothers in arms!
just bought my "brand new bike". been off two wheels for about 15 years.... Royal Enfield 650, very happy with it... for the price its awsome... P.S. my first bike was a 1800 vtwin m109 PPS dont buy a 1800 Vtwin m109 as a first bike.! :) Love the vids...here in the UK! 😁
I watched a video about a yer ago, some bloke bought a pallet load of Amazon returns. He had the same problem, people ordered stuff then returned their old stuff. They even had a mouse trap, not only had it been used but they hadn't even removed the dead mouse before boxing it up and sending it back.
I don't even have a driver's license for a bike. When I was 18, the year you could get a driver's license here, i wanted to get both, bike and car license. I went to a friend, who owned a bike, and got into leather and all. Got onto his bike, to get a feel. Turned on the motor, and felt the power of the Bandit under me. And I instantly got flashes, that this would be the way, I die. Ending up in a tree or something similar. I got off the bike, never ever touched one again. Still awesome feel
I did this (huge lots) thirty years ago. Now people understand why I was taking a risk at 2-3 cents on the dollar. Some was just junk, much was unsalable, and the good stuff had to be deeply discounted to move it out the door. Pay $3,000 for $100,000 of merch, pay for a big dumpster to throw away 25% of the stuff. Catagorize, and inventory, establish high prices to start moving it out the door while continually dropping prices to keep the sales moving. What was left over could be sold for almost nothing to surplus dealers which offered the advantage of them coming to get it instead of paying for yet another dumpster. A lot of work for average wages.
where is part 2 for this video? i really wanna see what you did with some of the items, if you mounted them on your bikes or sold em etc and actual profit
I used to have a 2013 Street Bob. Till a guy in a pickup truck ran a stop sign and hit me, totaled the bike, I still can’t walk for 5 more weeks!! I will get another bike!!! Hopefully!! Lol awesome vid! By the way, I was wearing my M1 Moto gloves and they are still absolutely perfect!! 🦿💯🦾
