if you don't know already, it makes that bang, cause the tip of a whip can go so fast, it can get over the speed of sound, making a sonic boom (a sound made when exceeding the sound barrier)
Castlevania taught me that chain is definitely stronger than bull. Castlevania 2 taught me you just need to light the thing on fire to have the ultimate weapon, lol.
Simon's Quest was the SHIT!!! My favorite part was, after collecting all five of Dracula's body parts and watching Dracula rise from the flames from burning them all, the ominous 8-bit music that followed the moment that final showdown began!
I am so amazed how generous are italians are to their nieghbour swipping a whip with a mach speed and making a gun shot sound and keep patient to him lmao
Nobody: "Bruh. I forgot my wallet at home 😭😭😭 Can you help?" Mike Shake: "Of course! I just gotta find my *overpowered stainless steel chain whip that's 3x my length.* " Nobody: "I'm sorry... What??"
@@legend_bg8843i no whipalodigist but that would kill and whips would probably made to scare people back/out. Probably used as intimidation but never actually using, or maybe im giving these people too much credit.
Bro made a real vampire killer whip, I think you're secretly a Belmont with whip skills like that. If you make a sequel whip video you should recreate whipping things from the Castlevania games.
He could use this for the workers at the cotton field. You Americans with your history.... talking nasty about Germans and our history. We learned it from you.
@@Puxi aey the enemy is in your country called immigrants. Good luck since you don't have a second amendment we do, we also have a invasion going on but have defense hahaha.
The damage to living tissue would have been much worse than the ballistics gel can show. With sudden impacts the worst of the damage isn't at the point of impact, but the deformation, stretching and tearing of the soft tissue around the point of impact as the shockwave travels through it. In military tradition with flogging, it wasn't uncommon for a soldier's entire back to turn black after 8 strikes or less. The cut's hurt, but that rippling damage throughout the rest of the tissue is where the real danger lies
Mike is on another level. Guy learns 100+ skills and now he makes the most powerful whip with tools at home. Which is probably the coolest skill you could have!!!
13:08 lemme just say that I adore how the letters are staying where they are while you move infront of them; nice detail, probably way too much work for such a little thing, but super cool
I've split that exact can in half with the regular bullwhip, you're putting a lot more effort into your swing obviously because the metal is heavier but you can also do that with the regular bullwhip for increased effect.
💥 Check out 17:15 in the video to see the whip strike causing a flash and leaving a burn mark upon impact. It showcases the phenomenon known as a 'flash burn' or 'thermal burn,' resulting from the whip's supersonic speed and the intense friction it creates.
You would become a juggernaut if you bring it into a colosseum, nobody can match you but you wouldn't want to bring it into a medical battlefield. Why? Because the weapon would be classified as a one man super heavy weapon and these types of weapon is not recommended in battlefield. If you want the exact reason then it's because usually super heavy weapons ( ballista for example) use many people, they will reload, protect the weapon when it lag (stagger after shooting) but with this whips, nobody wants to be your guardian as friendly fire is real, after you whip for once, you'll suffer the lag and the enemies will kill you
I feel so bad seeing the clip of him accidentally spanking himself with the whip but he seems to replay it for us so much at the mention of it that it starts to become more hilarious
Dude, DUDE, you have no idea how many hours I've spent looking for someone using a whip against ballistic gel or a ballistic dummy and you did both! Imagine the damage if you were more experienced with a whip or had someone more experienced swing that thing, like Adam Winrich....
Sad. They seem like a very effective weapon on horseback. Ride far apart and strike from spear length with an unpredictable, instantly killing invisible strike that also brings the loudest sound for added psychological damage effect. Damn now I want a medieval skeleton army with whip using cavalry. And an assisting army of sling goblins for more ancient weaponry goodness.
@@UnchainedTerrorexactly, and it can hit you since you have to move out of the way when you use it and I’m horseback you can’t dodge it when it returns.
Nice video and very nice work! Just a constructive opinion, i think you need to improve your skill, because when you put videos of people using whips they are making a "wave effect" with his hand passing it to the whip, they move the hand to a side and then quickly return it a little back to make that wave effect, and i think that the wave effect its very important to make a good "progressive impulse" in the whip Your videos are amazing, I really like your channel. Greetings from Venezuela!!
It is absolutely terrifying how much power and speed that thing is capable of generating. Some serious damage could be done if it were to be used in the wrong hands. The sound alone is enough to ignite pure fear in a mans soul
Well professional pitchers can put upwards of 140J of energy onto a ball, but its a lighter object. With such whip I think is possible to transfer more energy into the cracker, definitely as much power as a small hand gun cartridge.
I know this will probably never get seen, but from a circus performer, when you swing the whip, leave your arm straight out. Part of why it kept flying back at you at the end was that you were pulling it back. If you leave your arm straight out, the whip will crack, and lose momentum before it can come back and hit you.
but this is like an accual whip. belmont has this weird combo of flail and whip. honestly a lost closer to the flail. it has a handle, then a chain of uniform thickness followed by the "head" of the mace, and as we have it explained the only reason it does such insane damage is because its a blessed weapon against undead which makes it deal more dmg (the hit part explodes upn contact) so Mikes whip is totaly diffrent from belmonts flail. so while its called a whip it is in fact a morning star flail.
I refuse to believe that huge elongated cuboid was hit perfectly, i mean, this shit is way too powerful to just do a little cut there... everything else was extremely satisfying tho, keep up the good work, lovin it!!
Ever since I saw an old martial arts master of mine whom mastered the whip use one, I was convinced no sword could compare only thing that could tango is a spear and a pole but even then I’ve seen it in play and nobody can really defend from a whip. They’d have one with rubber tips on the end to prevent serious damage to someone and the noises the whip makes would send your heart through your arse. Only problem is the whip is basically the hardest weapon to master so in order to use a chain whip you’d have to have years of experience or be a natural at it.
As some dude on a coach, the training/armor/morale coefficient is critical when employing ancient military formations. Better to have 200 untrained dudes with spears then 5 whip masters
Just think about it. Whips now are strong enough to do that much damage and back then they put rusty nails, glass shards, thorns ect. in their whips, also the Romans had a cat tail whip which was just nine whip ends attached to one handle with all the other sharp things I listed. Also they used these against actual people not dummies. Also the cat tail whip was used with half the power so the sharp things would stick in someone’s back, then the whipper would drag the whip down and rip out flesh chunks.
13:36 I wonder how exciting he's going to be when he realizes that the mic actually picked up both sonic booms from the whip. Absolutely no doubt it was super sonic.
Hey, Mike. I got an idea for you: What if you made the handle like you did on the slingshot? Where it has the polycarbonate and wood? I think it'd fit great.
