Watching this with the mouth full of chocolate 😳 I have the problem that I cheat since easter. And I don't feel good on that sugar and carbs at all. Try even more to go back on keto. When I was on keto for 5 weeks I felt so full of energy, now I feel like crab. So this video came to the right time, motivtes me to go back on track!
I had my first period since starting keto and I’m always ravenous when i’m on it. It’s only been two weeks since i’ve started keto and like you said, my body is still adjusting and I shouldn’t have “cheated.” But I was feeling frustrated for not being able to eat rice or fruits, i wasn’t feeling satisfied after my dinner (I didn’t drink enough water today and I probably should’ve had more fat), and i just felt too deprived on this diet. So, being hangry, i just said screw it and had some rice, some pumpkin soup my mom made, and some vanilla ice cream. They were all so delicious that it felt worth it while i was consuming them. However, immediately after the binging i felt so sick that i thought i would barf haha. I’m lying down trying to digest all this food after taking some medication that helps with digestion. Anyways, i’ll probably have to start from day one of keto tomorrow, and while that’s upsetting, i don’t necessarily regret having binged on carbs. I might have to re-evaluate whether keto is right for me, but i want to keep trying, so wish me luck!!!!!
I went to a friends birthday and ate 3 pieces of pizza and drank 5 beers. I was very disappointed in myself having only been doing the diet 3 weeks. That was 4 days ago and my body still feels like it's in keto. So hopefully I didn't do too much damage.
Since dec 29 (it’s feb 3 today ) I cheated twice once for a week and the second time I lay for two days but still my first keto lasted 11 days and my second 14 :/

Thank you so much for this. I think you were looking over my shoulder as I had fish and chips yesterday followed by chocolate cake and ice-cream. Felt tired and horrible. Just wanted something different but back on track with a coffee with butter and coconut oil and some back bacon and sausage for breakfast. Nothing all day but will have another coffee with butter and coconut oil before going to work. Thanks for your brief and positive advice. Love your videos.

I agree with you I really hate the word "restart/redo" it made me felt like I'm on diet. I love eating high fat rather than high carbs low fat diet. I eat only healthy fats 6 days in a week and eat whatever I wanted one day.
I’m new to this whole dieting thing! 3 kids in ,and I have some what of a belly I’m trying to get rid of . Was doing good since Sunday, this is the third day and I cheated! I feel like a failure lol. I ate two little Debbie oatmeal pies and a piece of chocolate and a Coke Zero! Not in one setting but, did through out the day. I’m gonna try harder and fight my cravings. :-(
i love this lifestyle and have lost 11 lbs in less than two months and feel GREAT! but a lot of high carbers are telling me hi fat low carb gives you kidney stones and one lady was hospitalized. what if anything do you know about this. it really put a damper on my enthusiasm

Johns Hopkins Hosptital now gives oral potassium citrate supplements to all ketogenic patients, resulting in sevenfold decrease in the incidence of kidney stones. Kidney stone formation is associated with the diet for 4 reasons. 1. Excess calcium phosphate in urine occurs due to increased bone demineralization with acidosis. Bones are mostly composed of calcium phosphate. The phosphate reacts with the acid, and calcium is excreted by the kidneys. 2.Hypocitraturia: the urine has an abnormally low concentration of citrate, which normally helps to dissolve free calcium. 3. The urine has a low ph, which stops Uris acid from dissolving Leading to crystals that act as a bid us for calciumstone formation.." SO what you need to do is stay very hydrated and ITake potassium citrate, magnesium citrate, and calcium citrate supplements to prevent kidney stones and demineralization of my bones. Make sure they are citrate and not chloride or gluconate. I also plan of increasing my carbs with more veggies once I reach my goal weight. sorry for all the typing errors and also I am not a doctor. This is just what I have learned from my research. Be careful not to take too much potassium especially if you have any kidney problems. Too much potassium or too little can kill you.
i did keto for a year... i decided to do carnivore,, after 8 days i started to feel hungry again this sucks after a year on keto.. this sucks.. someone said eat more carbs to eat less fat,,, bad idea people on you tube freaking lie... i did popeyes for a whole week,, i hate feeling hungry this sucks,,, but i was also told...one meal aday you can eat whatever,, thats also a lie.. going back to keto to do high fat so im not hungry anymore
I've started keto diet from 1st October. I don't crave for carbs. But on 15th my sister is getting married. Since I'm from India there will be rice/biriyani etc. Can I eat rice on my sister's wedding? Can I cheat after 2 weeks?
Great encouraging video. It seems that keto people are so judgemental and send you straight to hell when you cheat. I just cheated for the first time in 3 months. My husband's birthday cake. I don't regret it because I know I can get back on track. I've made it this far and I can certainly pick myself back up again. Although I didn't fall I chose to eat a couple bites of cake to celebrate life with my husband. But I will say this I feel like crap now LOL
I ate fried crawfish and shrimp with fries, donuts and a beer for Valentine's day. I dont regret it. I also have no cravings so far I just act like it didnt happen

I Got dizzy, and started shaking at the same time with a little headache....It felt similar to the keto flu but only lasted for 3hrs and I was fine again. I ate more carbs later that day and I didn't experience any of the earlier symptoms.
Ive been on keto about 6 and a half months now havent really cheated but about 3 months in started incorporating 0 sugar o calorie drinks. I have lost a lil over 20lbs and have plateaud. I wanna beat this plateau any advice. I was originally 130lbs pre pregnancy. Went up close to to about 190lbs post csection. Im now 139.8-140lbs. Wanna get rid of that last 10 lbs. I dont get chance to do much exercise because im a doctor but my profession keeps me very active. Im wondering if i break my ketosis process then restart if thatll help with the extra 10 lbs? Suggestions? Keto has now become a lifestyle for so.
Thank you so much for sharing your videos they are very helpful. My husband is a meat eater and has been eating keto for quite a while now. He always has one cheat meal every single week so his body does not become insulin resistant. I am a vegan and just started eating keto two days ago. I am having nausea and diarrhea and hoping this will subside soon . Any suggestions for vegan keto would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊 Lisa
I ate grilled chicken with 2 cups of rice. and then after that I ate again lasagna with sweet drinks. but Im not gaining weight. I think Im still in ketosis haha hope so.
I’m totally lactose can’t have any type of dairy of any type or I pay big time for it , any ideas , I’ve started adding meat back into my diet and lots of juicing and smoothies veggies ect , I tried vegan but it didn’t serve me well
have you also tried ghee (clarified butter)? Otherwise tallow/olive oil/coconut oil are great for cooking. We only rarely have cheese (as eating dairy regularly causes some weight gain with us), so I think Keto is very doable without. How are you doing on meat/fish with some green leafy vegetables? If you have digestive issues you could try reducing fiber.
Kris Chiam don't change up your workouts and get plenty of protein. I lift 5 days a week and haven't lost any muscle. I'm still new to the diet however. It's only been about 3.5 weeks.
This diet is perfect to show and make Lean mass muscle not a bulk muscle full of water that makes you look like a balloon vs a nice detailing muscle tones on your body,got some friends taking protein shakes and that's what is doing them look fake muscle they look they have muscle but with shirt on , tell them to remove the shirts you will laugh after you compare your muscle with them ,lost 55 pounds and I can see muscle hidden on all that fat and around nice veins on them looking like a small version of hulk body
AH GUY , BUT IF IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE BODY 'KETO', THEN IS IT REALLY A NATURAL STATE? IS IT THAT WE ARE SO 'SENSITIVE' TO CARBS, OR IS IT THAT CARBS ARE A DEFAULT ENERGY SOURCE?
It gets easier and easier. A lot of it is cultural, and the fact we've lived on carbs our entire lives so it's hard for anyone to overcome what your body has been getting for years and years If you ate a keto diet from birth, I'm sure you would never crave sugar
This video came at a right time. I have a famiky apple picking being in NY we are apple ppl. I love them. I just plan on eating keto most of thr day till we get out their picking then allowing myself a apple or 2. The next day I'll try to fast and or dinner at work make it as low carb as possible. I don't want to cheat. I guess u could consisted it a carb up just for a apple or to and a cider donut. Then it's back on track
I'm looking into trying this Ketogenic diet, but what worries me is that you don't look healthy at all. you have a serious case of dark circles which I'm sure reflects some underlining problems. your face just doesn't look healthy. so i dont know, im honestly confused now if i should even try this.
