"I'd Throw Her Out" - Doctor Who S4 E10 "Midnight" Reaction 

The sheer horror on Tennant's face when Midnight started to talk ahead is such a great acting from David. He is amazing.

The spookiness of it progressing from copying to the same time and then ahead was just superb. Cracking concept.

This is the most scariest episode NuWho has ever attempted in my opinion. The old professor is actor David Troughton who is the real life son of The Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) he has also appeared in guest roles in Classic Who.

While they never explained what the entity in midnight was, and many believe it’s best left that way, there is a monster much later on that kinda fits. It’s in the female doctor era. I’ll leave it there and see if you guys think of it the same as I did.

The hard c sound in “schedule” is purely an American thing.

This episode although its a stand alone does have some cool tension to it but it all leads into the next 3 episodes possibly my most favorite of the entire series, enjoy guys ! cool reactions as always.

This is the episode I always suggest people watch to get them interested in the show. Probably one of the best written episodes of any series I’ve ever seen

I'm blushing here. But as Josh guessed, not a dude. (hated my full and very French name, so cut it a bit short when I was 16, so ages ago) Honestly, Garrett is the first ever I saw commenting that the Doctor needed to show his 'licence' (psychic paper I assume) and I thought, what a genius. Garrett would be an excellent companion ... well, how is your running Garrett, cause you've got an awful lot of running to do then. Everything you needed to know about this episode, has already been said in the comments, but as 'Blink' was the episode that got you and everyone I know off, interested in Doctor Who, it was this episode that turned one of the girls-next-door into 'can-I-watch-more-of-that-show-with-that-Doctor-cause-now-I-am-intrigued' and, even though that was almost 10 years ago that she saw it first - it still holds her dear cause it helped her discover a universe she loved to escape to. Funny enough, she saw it when another girl-next-door (well actually it's backyard cause our and both their backyards are all connected) was here watching every episode of Doctor Who (after she first saw 'Blink' ofcourse) whole summer long. I felt like a dealer of the neighbourhood trying to get all the teenaged girls and boys addicted ... to Doctor Who, but hey, it worked. I did basically what Josh did to you both.

RTD wrote this episode when another writer couldn't produce a script. It had to be written quickly and it had to be cheap. Shows what a talent RTD is that this is one of the best Doctor Who stories ever. But his scripts for the next three episodes are superior I think. And if you think this one is scary, the next one is even scarier - but in a very different way. Oh and yes - a script like this needs two very fine actors - kudos to David & Lesley.

THE BEST DW EPISODE (until u reach capaldi, then theirs two part during smiths run but thats more spectacle and payoff more than great writing an acting)

I've been hanging in coz I'm a whovian but this has been very frustrating. I don't feel like they like Dr.Who. especially the guy in the black tshirt. He doesn't seem to give a * that he's there and clearly hates DrWho. Also they talk way to much rubbish over the top instead of pausing to talk etc. Like other reactors. How are you meant to keep up with the show if you aren't paying attention? 🤔 I'm hoping they're bit more enthusiastic for the S4 finale.
