Good video. I might mention something I learned from talking to Blackstone about most commercial non-stick sprays. The agent told me to be careful with most non-stick sprays on the market. She said their team investigated this after numerous complaints about this griddle losing it's non-stick properties. Their team tried multiple brands, including the one you mentioned and found that it will damage the surface coating. She also mentioned the use of dish soap, saying that most contain an ingredient, especially the extra grease cutter formulas like Dawn Power Wash, that will remove the surface coating with repeated use. I have yet to use any dish soap. I guess airing on the side of caution. I haven't really needed to use it though. Hope this helps. Love your videos.
Thanks a ton for the Info on the grilling set. I was really sweating if I could find the tools I needed for this grill. Now I am on the hunt for a chopper that will work with it. BTW I just bought the set and pick it up tomorrow. As to your question. Yes, I very much enjoy your videos and look forward to many more.
I appreciate it. Hopefully I will be getting to more of them very soon after a rough time with some personal issues. This is still my absolute favorite kitchen appliance.
If u love cooking on the blackstone, keep cooking man, no matter what..every day there's new people trying to learn to cook on these griddles, and it's good people like u that teach us, thank you..
Thank you for making these videos, I just bought my E series blackstone and I like being able to see how to cook on it before I use it. Everything looks delicious!!
Amazon carries a silicone scraper that works great. I tend not to crack eggs on the griddle but on a flat surface nest to it, helps with the splatter . I put ghee butter down on all the drop zones, works great and place Duke's mayo on the muffins or bagels to cook on the griddle. Love the eseries.
Please keep making cooking videos on this griddle. I'm about to buy one and would so appreciate your recipes and info and I'm sure so many others would too 👍
Watched your first cook on this griddle & had to see if you had other videos on this very griddle! We bought this griddle for on to go & it was very light weight & I wanted to see some videos about it to see how it holds up! YOUR VIDEOS HAVE BEEN THE BEST IVE SEEN AT ALL!! No bull going in, straight to what I was hoping to see & has shown me, I’m gonna love the 17” blackstone griddle! Please let us know if you ever have any problems that happen cause you’ve used yours already a year or more!!! Subscribed & liked because your straight to the point!!! Keep on Cooking.
Been watching your Blackstone E-Series for a couple days now. Great content!! I decided to purchase one today. They did not have it at my local Wal-Mart so it is being shipped to me. Can't wait!
Thanks for watching! A lot of times we buy something thinking that we'll use it and it ends up in a cabinet somewhere... this *is not* one of those things lol. I think you'll really like it. 👍👍
It is sometimes difficult to try and come up with something to cook on it. I usually think of things I've cooked over the years and figure out if they're a good fit for the griddle or if they can be adapted for it. I'll definitely be doing more videos cooking on it.
Keep it up.!!!! lets see some blackened Shrimo and scallops on the e series over botan rice Or can we do corn hash. any good mexican dishes and bread wouldvbe good too...Just some ideas. Love the way you teach abd are fun too listen to!!❤
This is great!! Sep 2022! Have to go look for your other vids!!! My question on this vid is how much did this cooking really stink up the house? I will buy those rings for sure, what a nice technique!!!
You know, I've thought about seperating the cooking/food videos from carpet cleaning but it's tough starting a new channel and getting enough views to make it worthwhile. I may do it in the future though.
really nice video.I just bought mines i chose this griddle because I live in an apartment. what I really need to know is have you cooked bacon on it yet and how do i keep my bacon from curling up? How to make smash burgers on this griddle? I'm looking forward to using this griddle THANKS
Great video thanks. One question - have you noticed that the griddle cannot maintain temperature? I have read many comments saying that is the number one issue with the griddle. Thanks
The temp is definitely going to take a hit when the food is put on but I already knew that would be an issue to some degree since it's common with all electric appliances like these. On this 17" I don't find it bad enough that I'm too concerned with it and you can help compensate by starting with a higher temp at the beginning and then lowering the temp as it recovers. Now the 22" griddle is a different story. It has two heating elements to cover the larger surface but they are each smaller than the 17" elements and the temps on it tend to take much longer to recover which is why I really prefer the 17" which is still my favorite kitchen appliance. Now if you're used to cooking on gas, the electric will surely seem slow by comparison but the truth is, I think the 17" does a decent job of recovering, all things considered
