I live in the Philippines for 6 years I was station in Subic Bay. I meant my Filipino wife in Hawaii as America citizen her mother was born in Hawaii. We've been married 40 years!

Why are these beautiful young Pilipino women so disparate to marry old foreigners... some might call it love. I call it desperation or poverty. Some old men could be honest but I am sure most are taking advantage out of the situation. I am sure most of these foreigners as issues too. That's my opinion.
@@axy_stix5582 Age doesn't matter anywhere but a big age gap does matter. A 20 year old marrying an 50 or 60 year old, well there is something that is definitely wrong. It's a good excuse to say age doesn't matter.

I'm the same. Been researching about Philippines and saving my money. I'm planning to visit this April and if I like it I plan to retire in 3-5 years so at 53 or 55 years old. Seems like such a great place beautiful country, very nice people and very affordable.

Tim! You can rent a nice guesthouse in Bali, Indonesia for a very low price! Paid $320 for 42 days including tax! My room is nice and I have cable tv with cinemax and all HBO channels. I also have a fridge and a place to store my clothes. A room like this would easily be $30 usd a day in PH!

You should always apply sunscreen when out in the sun. After a few hours, you need to reapply. People with fair skin are more prone to sunburn. So, protect yourself. Risk of skin cancer in the future.
