If i was CEO of a company i would place a 1 year no allocation fine on any dealer that added markups on product. If they were serious about customer relations they could stop this in 1 day
Not even made in America. No way I would ever consider paying that much.... but then again, I've never spent more than 2k for anything. I like the $400 cars that way I get to make it mine.
That's absolutely criminal. Dodge was supposed to make sure most of the cars sold at sticker and weren't marked up like that. At least that one is available, unlike the one that a dealer had on allocation for a US serviceman and then sold to someone else for more money before he could pick it up. I'm sure that has happened more than once with greedy sleazy car salesman always looking for that bigger commission on a sale, but the one I'm talking about took RU-vid by storm and the CEO of Dodge actually pulled back on of the cars they had in reserve to rebuild it for the US serviceman so he's getting his car. Car salesman, politicians, and lawyers are three types of people that act like your best friend while picking your pocket. We need less of them.
My dealer in Punta Gorda FL. Gettel is the name of the dealership. I went there with cash for an allocation and was told that the dealer is only getting 1 and the owner might keep it. But but but he is taking bids on what I’m willing to pay for it and that is what other people were doing and they would not tell me what the high bid was. It’s ridiculous how the company allows dealers to pull this shit!!!! Bid. They want me to bid like eBay at a fucking dealership. Again Gettel in Punta Gorda FL is garbage and a rip off!!
I'll be 60yrs old this year .I have lived modestly my whole life. When I was 19 I had a '71 R/T . What a blast. My house is paid off, I'm on Disability from a fall off a utility pole 25ft onto a boulder. I have 4 401k's worth around $600,000 and $200,000 in a couple accounts. I'm really thinking about treating myself to that black Hellcat/Demon. Every time I see a video like this, I get really tempted to grab one. !!
@@TheAlexdylan97 Not really. Is you calling me a boomer supposed to be insulting ? I didn't spend my childhood playing video games in the house ? I didn't need an electrical outlet to play a sport ? Being overweight by the age of 13 ? Yeah, I'm the last of the boomers. Thank God.
Oh you know it was driven hard especially these days most videos you see of them hellcats is wrecking out doing donuts in an intersection @@johnmcaleese8459
That's a "display" price. They're wanting someone to offer around 2x retail price. Unless it's the dealership owner's car that he wants to put on display. Then it's really not for sale.
I found five of those demon 170 4 at PR and one at USA for $400,000. They can keep it, its only a track car, its límites to 149 mph. Better off with a red eye which is fastest.

@@DezzysSpeedShop You’re probably right, but honestly I’d personally rather have the Corvette, I like the Mopars, and pretty much any other performance American car, but the Corvette, especially a rare version in my opinion is the better investment, not that I can afford either one anymore, I’m happy with my old muscle, from back in my time, I’m down to my last one, I’ve had more than I can honestly remember, not unlike yourself, I have been addicted to them since I was a very young kid, I’m 75 now. I can’t remember if I talked to you before about some, but a few years ago I had 4 in my shop, a 1968 W-30 442, a 1969 Yenko Camaro, a 1970 W-31, and finally my 1972 W-30 442, which I ordered brand new in 1972, just finished a 5 year frame off restoration on it, with complete mechanical rebuild, and upgrading. This is just a small part of what I’ve owned through the years, most were bought used, but some were bought new. I just never could get enough of them, the 72 is the last I have, and it’s going up for sale in the spring, to old for that much power anymore.
Do you know what kind of car you can build for that amount of money. A car that will leave that 170 in the dust that what kind of car you can build. Probably for half that price
