Persimmon Creek Road and Devils Branch Road are two amazing roads just outside of Clayton, Georgia. Quiet, twisty, scenic... you really can't ask for much more. If you're in the area, leave the typical motorcycle roads and check these out.

Beautiful ride. South central Kansas is all flat ☹️. On the plus side - I can see the deer coming to jump out in front of me literally a mile away 😅 I chuckled when I saw the church sitting on Devil's Branch 😂

I rode across Kansas last summer... I couldn't believe how far away the grain silos were! I'd see one and it would take me 20 minutes to get to it. I also was camping in a tent at a Kansas fishing lake (with nobody else there) and got a tornado alert on my phone. I had nowhere to go and I literally had to hold the fly down so my tent wouldn't blow away. I was wearing my motorcycle helmet in the tent!

Well "you" didn't find it. Lol. I ride this rode several times a month. BUT I would love to ride it with other riders in the area. Let me know!!!! I don't know if you know this, but there are several really great roads around this area that are part of the SM 500 route. Check out Tallulah River Road which you went right past the next time you are in the area.

I haven't explored that area too much, I usually end up going up through Highlands. Tallulah River Road does look fantastic, I'll check it out next time I'm up that way. What do you ride? I haven't done the SM500 yet, but I think that's on tap later this spring (probably on the DR650 rather than the GS).
