Those are referred to as tucked stitches. It's one of those "things" happens...I asked a group once...I was told tension and yarn causes it. I was told weights can help prevent tucked stitches. I have used this in crochet work and loved it. I tend to go with big twist now. My knitting machine bit the dust and I was devastated. I took it apart and the gears had broken.I have a 48 machine on order from Amazon though and will be more careful with yarn types. I think it happened on thicker worsted weight size 4. On that note. Some size 4 is thinner like Big Twist. It was probably the super saver crap that did it to be honest. It was more or less an unbranded generic toy. The one I have coming is an actual Sentro brand.
Thanks Amanda! I come from the world of crochet and am still learning knitting terms. My machine struggles when I use RHSS. Thinner size 4s and size 3 yarns are kinder to the machine.
@@YarnChecker I learned a lot from my first experience. Now I know to be extra careful with yarn and tension. And learned the hard way about the size of yarn and thickness. You're so right!!!!!
Great price. I paid full price and made summery shawls. Loved it but I crochet very loosely and used a G hook. Gave some as gifts. No complaints. Limited supply at Joann when I returned. Will be looking for it at DT.
Perhaps try hanging weights or clips as soon as you have enough rows . Also, i have an addi as well as the sentro and i will bet that it will run on the addi.
I live in Canada and we don't have any nice yarn at the Dollar Tree😣 Before the pandemic, my husband and I took a trip to Montana and I found lots of nice yarn at the Dollar Tree. I have almost used all of it up now, so I'm kinda sad that I won't be able to buy any more! Darn this stupid pandemic 😷
I actually have those colors. Premiere wss selling them from their website in 3 pks several months ago. Even though it was on sale. I paid much more than you did.
You get what you pay for. Better to go to a supplier like Knitpicks or Hobbii and get some marvelous yarn on sale for the same price as that ghastly cheap yarn.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong w/the yarn bcuz it’s discounted or at a discount store. Some yarns just don’t work well on machines. Look at how beautiful her swatch was. I’ve bought this yarn at the full price n it worked well, also crocheted well from $1tree purchase.
