I’ve bought at least 50 skeins. I knit for a charity and this yarn is great and can’t beat the price.

My stores never have it. I’m convinced the employees are all crafters. LOL Most likely a customer is there at the right time and scores it all.

I'm on my second pair of socks with this yarn and so far I'm really liking it. For a dollar a skein, it's definitely nicer than I expected. One of our local stores has had a lot, others have only a skein or two on a good day.

I finally made time to use the yarn. It is very soft and manageable. I love all of the colors dollar tree had today. They were going fast!! Now I hope to find a machine I like. Your scarf came out very nice.

I was wondering about this yarn 🧶 My niece found a lot of colors at her dollar tree and purchased all the colors for me. I can’t wait until the box arrives. Thanks for sharing it’s really helpful. Being disabled I’m unable to get out to shop any more. Again thanks.🙂

MUCH nicer yarn than Mainstay. No knots. Premier yarn quality., Buy all you an. Colors seem to be seasonal, soft enough for baby too.

I discovered the Just Yarn looking for something else at the Dollar Tree. I bought some being I was getting into crocheting and was delighted. However, if you've had those moments when you are crocheting or knitting and feel your missing some material for your project, you very well may be. I recognized this while on a project and thought I was flipping out a little. After taking a look at the labels of the yarn I had previously bought, and the yarn I had just bought, I saw the issue. The yarn is offered in two sizes. 109 yds., and 131 yds. Please pay attention to this. I learned the hard way by assuming they were all the same size, and in a rush. By the way, any suggestions on relaxing my hands, and tensioning the yarn so I don't get the ruffle affect when crocheting. Working on it, but find it a little difficult.

I like using that yarn. I did make a hat using that yarn on machine and I crochet with it too. I was surprised how nice the yarn is.

I have recently purchased the DT yarn for making an Afghan I love it. It works up really good. Yes the skeins are small, but then they are only $1.25.

The variety in my area is limited to a display of a couple of cases, but I have found a store that dedicates the entire side of an isle, plus an end cap to their yarn. LOVELY!!

I bought some of this yarn at the Dollar Tree around the corner from where I live. They did not have many colors, either, but I'll keep checking back...and buying what I can find and use, and maybe they'll get in more colors. The price is now $1.25, but it's still a good bargain. If this works out for me, I'm going to buy a case of it from the Dollar Tree website. It's definitely nice and soft although I have not started a project with it...but I will later today. Thanks for your review!

I have used several colors of the premier yarn but haven't come across the colors that was shown in this review made blankets ,shawls scarfs and cardigans and they all turned out beautifully, do you know if the Tennessee store are going to try get the colors you showed, would love to get the lilac and the orange, also the velvet made up a beautiful soft baby blanket in pink ran out on the last row middle of the blanket Guess that I'll have to go on line to get more just not to good at online ordering, BLESSING to all the crochet folks

I've used this yarn on my Brother KX350 flatbed, mid-gauge knitting machine, and it knits up nicely. I was surprised when I walked into a local Dollar Tree and found about 12 different colors. That is definitely not the norm. Wil try again this week to see what I find available.

The side OPPOSITE of the center pull will have and obvious strand that sticks out from under the label and then is inserted into the center of the skein. Once you have found that ( and pulled the loose end out of the center) it's fairly easy to stick two fingers into the opposite end and pull out a small amount of yarn. I have nearly all the colors now and it's worked with every skein.

I have been buying Premier yard at Dollar Tree for quite awhile now. I just made a blanket from the tweed. Very soft and comfy. The Just Cotton is also very good. This yarn beats Mainstay by a mile.

This is made in Turkey and Mainstays also started getting their yarn from Turkey (and it is softer than before) so I think it likely a similar manufacturer and I am HERE for inexpensive, good quality yarn!

Dollar Tree stores in my area have Premier “Just Yarn” and “ Active Yarn” (which is slightly lighter weight than their Just Yarn). BOTH knit up 😍So Beautifully 😍 on my Sentro, never any problems or mistakes in the knitted fabrics. I also use these yarns for hand knitting and crocheting. 🤩 These 2 Premier yarns are Definitely MUCH better than DT’s other “crafting” yarn, which is stiff, scratchy and NOT wearable 😢

Hi Serfronya, another useful review. I haven't had chance to go into a dollar tree. but online it appears they will only carry a limited number of the 17 colors that premier yarns website show they make in just yarn 100% acryllic. I see from the skein you have that the yarn is made in Turkey. Turkey is where the Hobby Lobby "I love this yarn" is made and it is soft too. Have you used the Joann's big twist? it is on sale in my area for 1.74 a skein, 380 yards for solid colors. but it says not to dry in dryer. lay flat. Thanks in advance

Denise, it's always good to hear from you. I love Big Twist and use it a lot for both crochet and machine knitting. The label used to say you could machine wash and dry it. But some time ago they changed it. However, I still put my items in the dryer same as always and they still turn out fine.

I finally found this at my dollar tree and it’s great to work with. I think shoppers scoop them up really fast so it’s hard to find.

Thanks for the yarn review, I’ll try one. I tried the Mainstay yarn again, my Sentro doesn’t like it😕. I’ve heard the Addi likes it though. I can’t crochet but I am using the yarn for looming. Have you tried Hand Made Modern yarn at Target? I bought some where I used to live but my Target here doesn’t have it. I like your scarf, looks very cozy and so nicely done.

I bought some of the Handmade Modern yarn at my local Target and liked knitting with it very much. They only had 2-3 skeins, which I bought and used to start a baby blanket for charity, assuming I could get more--not so! Looked all over the internet, too. Wound up finishing the blanket with economy yarn from elsewhere that I didn't like as well. Such is life. :)

I notice that you have a row counter on your sentro. Can you tell me how you installed it? The row counter on my sentro of course has stopped working.

My dollar tree had at least 15 unopened boxes sitting on the shelf. I bought a whole box lmao! spent 20 dollars, got 6 different colors and enough yarn to make sooooooo many things. Its actually surprisingly soft, I’m thinking of making a sweater

I'dpersonally use the scratchy yarn to make scratches or scrubbies, being that it's scratchy, or dishcloth s, , I can't stand them but perfect for scrubbie yarns if put that in for dishcloth/ scrubbie yarn
