Grew up in the Bay Area but never saw them back in the day. Finally got to see them in 2010 next to the Columbia River on a warm summer evening. I've been going to concerts since the early 70's but can't remember a better show. During this song they had everyone dancing in a conga line. The musicianship was top notch.
I remember when this band came out. I was blown away. They were a jazzy, bluesy, pop, Latina and jam band. Great lyrics and great voices. I loved them then and I love them now. I'm looking forward to seeing them in Florida in October!
One of the greatest songs - ever. I brought my sons up in my arms dancing to this awesome song. I just love it. Don't know why. But it's a blast. What a blast. I'm going to have it at my funeral. "I'm free at last, what a blast". One of the best songs ever.
40 or so years ago, I used to dance with my little guys to this song. Oh, my. They were so sweet (still are) and this song had such energy. Loved it. Still love it. What a blast. One of the best ever! Ever!
Fantastic!!!! As a professional fellow musician, a drum solo of the greatest kind. Raw power, timing, and dynamics! Great job to The band and thank you for your years of memories!
I'm fortunate to possess the Nautilus Supercut Audiophile vinyl LP pressing of "Worlds Away" (is it really 43 years ago!!) and when it gets to this track the volume gets turned way up!! The Best Cut from a Superb album.! This performance (what year?) surpasses the recording - as live performances generally do! Superb in every way! What a pity Pablo couldn't make it 'cos he was at the bottom of the pool!
Damn, I still love it. I hope my six little grandchildren get to dance to these sounds. I wish I could do it. I still feel it in my heart: when those babies smile at me, I go to Rio. What a bunch of cuties.
