Let's go bro!!! So exciting!! I remember how excited I was when I first got my acceptance letter too. That thing was on the fridge for months. Looking forward to watching more videos and following you along your journey ⚡️
Hey there! I just stumbled upon this! I'll be interviewing with the PSE JATC for the Inside Wireman apprenticeship on Thursday. Maybe our paths will cross soon! Happy sparking and youtubing!
I know Mad electrician has made a video on the topic. But I was curious to how old you are, getting into the trade? I’m visiting my union today for more info.
Yo man question for ya I just finished my interview with the union and I’m wondering what’s the next step afterwards? I know you get your score via mail but does that score include if they’ll hire you or will those results come up in a different letter?
@@zlab1904 starting pay for my local is around $25p/h. Pay increase every 6 months. Making over $30 p/h after first year and will be close to $70 p/h once I journey out. Great paying career!
So the letter says you must bring drivers license but if you don’t have one you have 30 days to get one. I’m curious what would happen in this scenario, I want to apply my my license is suspended for a few more months.
@@SparkysJourney ya I believe you’re correct. I do have a restricted drivers license. I’m not sure if that qualifies as a “valid drivers license” but I think if I were to apply now and wait the months it takes for testing, interview process and eventual hiring, I may have my full license by then. November 17th. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
I need advice, I’m currently working in mental health and I have no experience in electrical work. I‘m planning to become an electrician because after going to college, getting my Bachelors, and working in an office- I can’t stand it. It took this pandemic to make me realize it’s not for me. I’ve taken a great interest in becoming an electrician by joining the IBEW. I heard I don’t need any experience to join the IBEW but I want to get some experience in before applying, or should I just apply anyway? I heard they’re military friendly and I’m hoping my veteran status would help. Any advice will be great! Thank you
I had no experience. No experience is necessary. That being said. Experience will probably get you in faster. First things first… apply!! Apply right now. It will take time to get into the program so the earlier you apply, the better. You’re experience won’t actually matter until the last step which is the interview. The interview can take 2-8 months to schedule form the time you apply. I would try to get experience as a material handler or stockman before your interview if you can! Good luck!
