I thought it was pretty hysterical that the thought of selling her Rolex (which she would have only got half its value for) was the only thing that made her stop and reconsider that the whole thing might be a scam. "Take my 250K (AU) that I've secretly squirrelled away and that my husband doesn't know about, please. But I draw the line at my social status fashion statement Rolex." Well I am currently on a romantic connection with a good looking male doctor and I have friends and acquaintances who are doctors. Yes, male doctors do use dating apps, but it's rare. When they do, rest assured they have red flags such as commitment issues aka not in interested in a LTR. If they don't have red flags and are husband materials, they get locked down so quickly, mostly by a high-value woman. Just telling you the truth here. It's true, they have women throw themselves at them, especially if they are good looking. The one that I'm in a connection now has lots of exes and many beautiful women flirt with him. In addition, most male doctors I know have huge egos. They want an attractive partner who is in the same tax bracket as them or has the same level of education. They will be very picky, especially if they are good looking.

She wasn't naive. She was panting for the handsome, young doctor so hard that all the blood in her body rushed to her nether regions, so there was nothing left for her brain to use. I mean, when I look at his picture, I can tell he is kind, has a good sense of humor, loves animals, especially dogs, is a real romantic, and will treat me like a lady. (Honestly, it's hard to feel sympathy for her.) These people jump in with both feet and then want to blame someone else when it all goes t-ts up.

Uggg…zero sympathy for those who get catfished, sorry. I’m 64 and have done the online thing in the past. It literally takes 10 minutes to do a little research and a reverse image search. If they refuse to video chat, or their camera is broken etc…RUN! Don’t be sooo desperate for love and attention that you lose your mind!!

Yup. P.S. Use a reverse image search that works on social media accounts (Google and Tineye don’t). I’ve used Facecheck ID and it works pretty well and it’s free.

I've been called a scammer on sites with no video chat option (despite them claiming otherwise, they must be on a mobile app while I'm on the desktop website), I can't use audio-only because HoH and need to lipread, and I never even ask for money XD Very odd. And they refuse to use something that DOES have video chat options like Skype. Not sure why that might make me a scammer.

Big lesson I also had to learn at age 37 is that as a woman or a man we are not responsible for financially helping other adults no matter what. Haha 😂😂😂 I do tend to judge people on their apostrophe usage. A consultant eye specialist wanted me to go to a local optician to have my spectacles and frames made up. When I got there, the sign in the window showed the wrong usage of an apostrophe and I wouldn’t go in to the store. How could an optician have a wrongly worded sign in his window and expect people to reply on him for their spectacles and eye health - the two just don’t equate. Maybe I’m over fussy … 😂
