It’s really important to increase your fiber intake when experiencing insulin resistance. Eating foods high in fiber before your meal can reduce the sugar levels in your blood. Also focusing more on weight lifting can help build up your metabolism.

Thank you for all the insight! The hardest thing for me is trying to explain to people how DEBILITATING it can be. Especially the confused look people give when you just say you're sick, but you look fine. Nevertheless, we will prevail!

Soooo Happy to have found your page!! I have been diagnosed for almost 13 years now. I love that you mentioned the adverse effects that BC has on women’s body. When I first was diagnosed, the only recommendations Drs gave was BC and I took it for 6 years and boy did it change my mind, body and almost my soul lmao😂😂😂 so happy to be on my 6th years of a natural journey with PCOS. Surprisingly I just started Inositol the last 4 months and I am just so impressed!! Can’t wait to see your other content angel. ❤❤

Thank you so much. I will definitely be implementing these steps into my life. I also have insulin resistance pcos and it's definitely been a struggle. I was trying to research how the hell I end up with pcos and I couldn't find out a definite answer because I have almost all the symptoms related to pcos. I have even bleed out for over a year already so I am trying to best to educate myself because it can get overwhelming sometimes.

Hi Courtney, Power in your words “My PCOS” it’s not yours, you can be delivered of it & be managed. Don’t claim it as yours ❤️

She said it like that because of the symptoms that she has, since it manifests differently in each person that has it.

Intermittent fasting is the best solution. Starve and regulate the body of insulin naturally. Intermittant fasting solves *ALL* pcos symptoms.

It’s best for people to seek professional advice before jumping on these fads if it isn’t done correctly it can throw the body off balance and make people resistant to weight loss. Some people need to eat higher quality food with structure and reduce stress. Be careful with dropping absolute solutions to such a sensitive condition. My periods came back through cutting out sugary drinks and eating more protein, fats and vegs. Stress management is even more important.

STARVE??? 🤡 Working for you ≠ works for everyone. Grow up. It *DOES NOT* work for me. The only thing that worked was being vegetarian. It regulated my periods, clear my skin and the redness and I lost some weight. Going back to eating meats after 1 year made it worse again. My point = everybody is different. This shouldn’t be repeated at this day and age….

I kind of disagree with that exercise point. weight loss is understandably very difficult with PCOS due to the hormone changes however losing weight can make a hugeeee difference with PCOS and if possible, the more exercise the better. but of course, do what is best for your mental health and what makes you feel happiest and healthiest.
