Your Viego was nuts, I really love the interview scene where you commemorated your smurfing performance to all the Goldies. Chat spammed "Gold btw" "T1 Carried by Gold KEKW" it was so fun, congrats on experiencing that unforgettable moment! P.S. Great editing btw
11:45 that's exactly how snowball works! Pro tip for ARAM: if you're playing someone with an empowered auto attack like renekton or voli. Hit the snowball, press the ability, then take the snow ball. Your auto attack after snowball is instant and 100% garenteed. So you WILL stun them. If you press the ability after you take the snowball they could flash away or you could get hit by cc and they don't get stunned.
Interestingly, the doctor who got a 300% mortality rate was also one of the statistically most successful surgeons of his time and was a surgeon before anesthetics so going as fast as possible was the norm. Later on he became the first surgeon to use proper anesthetics and was a major proponent for the new practice!
Love the super long videos and the breakdown of the event. GGWP to you and your team! Fun fact: on june 5 2022, it will officially be 10 years since draven and his login screen be released since 2012! Happy birthday draven and glhf summoners!
The '300% mortality rate doctor' story is actually an urban legend based off of an actual person, Dr. Robert Liston. One of the best surgeons of his age... in an era where the only anesthetic was to get blackout drunk. He was known to be able to amputate a limb and seal the stump in less than 3 minutes. He also performed the first ever surgery with anesthesia when it was first invented.
The doctor story. As far as I am aware the operation was a record amputation. In the frenzy of the cutting around the limb he cut off the fingers of his assistant, and a viewer died from the shock of seeing a limb be gone so fast.
Wait, wait, wait. Zezima is a mod in your chat???!!!! Like the OG god of Runescape who is still beloved to this day???? He's a Mod in your chat???!!!!! Skooch I know for a fact you played RS at one point and you for sure have fans who played it or still do. You have to do an OSRS stream or vid, if possible with Zezima.
about the doctor super quick, he also was one of the only doctors in that era that was an advocate for sterilizing his tools and surgery gear, dropping his mortality rate against other doctors of the time by more than half
33:20 That is exactly why AP Shyvana is actually a shit build, it's a gimmick that's entirely outplayable with good decision making. Now, juggernaut AD shyvana is quite useful even without her ult, much better build (used to be meta, and new items have made it notably better than it used to be; Gargoyle Stoneplate in particular is insanely good for tanky AD shyvana).
@@Geheimnis-c2e I've killed many ranged champions with her before. She's not as vulnerable to range as you might think (and range is not as OP as you imply either; how else do so many melee champs continue to see play at every level from Iron to Pro play?)
I play an off-bruiser Shyvana with Demonic Embrace and then tanky items. It's so weird because you have insane damage while also being tanky as all hell, especially if you picked up a few dragons.
@@Ceracio That's essentially what my AD juggernaut Shyvana does. Core build is Sunfire Aegis, defensive boots, Sterak's Gage, and Gargoyle Stoneplate (underrated item, it's SO good in any kind of tanky build). Usually get Titanic Hydra for more hp and dmg after the core, leaving the last item for whatever else I need.
Funny how you brought up Dr. Liston, then compared yourself to him. That's hilarious. Glad you had fun during the event. [Edit: Where was the cheer for us Platinum players? You had Gold and under (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron) and Diamond and up (Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, Challenger). I'm genuinely offended by being left out.]
Theory crafting an even stronger lost in draft team; Graves with a dd and force of nature, don't care about the other items, Swain, Fiddlesticks, Ornn, and I want to argue varus or twitch to be the final member. Honorable mentions go to sion, neeko, nami, soraka, and samira. And yes, I do realize no one asked
28:05 What if the dragons had an ability, like: while flying, (infernal, terrain, cloud, ocean and elder)drake will target the farthest enemy from it's range to swoop to, if the enemy is grabbed they procced to be taken farther away until the range ends or it hits Terrain: Dealing Physical/Magical(depends on dragon, like infernal deals magical due to it's fire claws) damage and stunning the target for 0.4 sec, increased to 1 if terrain is collided. If the dragon misses, it becomes vulnerable due it's Recovery, additionally if it hit's terrain while dashing it's stunned for 1 second. Rewarding good positioning just like Big Bug Mommy. I hate that they're just stats, They just fly around clunkily spit something at you, Like they're just minions waiting to die, why not have them be a boss fight, They're LARGE for a reason, also it would make the fight more entertaining, I love the extra chaos BBM brings in her arena, so the dragons should do more to protect their Home.
Played Viego pretty well imo, as you said he is cracked in aram. However, Akshan and Viego kinda need other frontliners to do well in aram. Their team had lots of good combos as well
Theres something about you skooch, you have the mechanics down to a tea, but you sometimes just have people who cant back you up. Now you're playing with good ass players and are in your element, clearly. Malph imo is pretty mechanical for his ult, and due to that, you see the openings extremely easily. Im more mechanical, and I feel that exact thing when I have played malph, I honestly dont think i've played him more than 10 times. Also tylers pc crashing 4 times? damn how unfortunate
I still can't fathom the brain farts that went on that made Skooch pick Shyvanna against Shaco. Almost any other jungler would have been a better choice :S
I saw Tyler 1 there day 1 and when I saw your prediction I thought it would be cool to see you there. Day 2 rolls around and you're right there on stage doing this epic Viego play. Hoping for a greet next time with the only League streamer I enjoy!
Liston operated so fast that he once accidentally amputated an assistant's fingers along with a patient's leg, according to Hollingham. The patient and the assistant both died of sepsis, and a spectator reportedly died of shock, resulting in the only known procedure with a 300% mortality. Source: Google.
Skooch, just wanted to commend u on your great pronunciation. It allows me to play ur videos at 1.75× speed while driving with ease. Great articulation bro 👏
Actually, the third guy who died in the surgery did not die of a stroke, he died of a heart attack, because the assistant's blood spilled on him and he got scared that it was his.
I really believe Skooch wont be popular on Twitch to the current degree if not for his RU-vid carrier. It is impossible to be famous on Twitch, streaming on Twitch alone. Gotta hustle.
