Fun Fact: SF III 3rd Strike sold around 160,000 copies. SFA Alpha 3 which came 1 year later sold 1.500.000 (initial version 1.000.000 copies, total SFA3 copies sold 6,2 mil). The Alpha series in total sold 17 mil). Yet, despite that 3rd Strike got "resurrected" by Gill and the streamers, all because of that parry system. 3rd Strike got even an EVO tournament with 1000 participants. Parry is certainly a unique system that rewards training & getting better with the system & thus has many 3rd Strikefollowers for that reason. But, like any feast-or-famine/hero or zero/snooze or lose system, it means it can be very polarising. This means Justin was on the losing end of the parry system today.

I love fighting Kwukwu, we fight all the time on FC. Dud's my favorite matchup in 3S.

I still can't stand the tiny pinheads on these 3rd Strike sprites. Its the opposite of other games that give the sprites oversized heads. Mostly RPGs. I cant stand those either.

J Wong throws too much. I remember in China Town if you threw someone it was always by accident because everyone knew throws were cheap. The people there would apologize and insist you throw them back before going back to skill vs skill. J Wong was one of the 1st who “did anything to win” and the FGC has become robotic math science “to win”. Its soulless. Look at his gapped mouth and blank expression.
