Dear Jennifer, Thank you again! I am SO READY to reboot my career. I have recovered from extreme burnout with the help of long term disability coverage. I am preparing to return to the workforce, and I know that returning to the same environment is a total non-start! I am ready to reinvent me and shake away the "wtf" from a toxic environment as I do my best to negotiate my way back to work (but definitely not back to the environment that broke me).

This process is going to help you so much! It got me out of depressed/anxious/burnout. And with clarity about what you want it's sooo much easier to put boundaries in place to build that in your next era. Sending you all the vibes 💜

You are the most awesome channel I ever discovered, I wanted to comment on your previous videos such as "your colleagues are not your friends" and "your boss is not your friend" but I didn't have the chance, I always subconsciously knew that before I even discovered you, but you have confirmed my way of thinking when I had no guide, So thank you, Things have been going great too with my personal life, Career wise and fitness wise too. All thanks to your guide. And your guide is this, Do your job at work, no drama, go home and then you can do whatever you want, After work, I go to the gym, and then I chill so much after another day of satisfaction both in my career and my gym life. All thanks to you.

Thanks for this video. I appreciate the sentiment that this is more like a rediscovery than a reinvention. I want to say that a lot of our problems are because we lose ourselves to distractions and vices that don't serve us. Reminding ourselves of what really matters to us, no matter how small that may be, is important to a grounded sense of self.

Great video, I agree with most of your points! Personally, when I’m looking at making a change the first place I look is the grocery store. For example, I’ll ask myself “What an I eating for breakfast tomorrow morning?” “Is it heathy and how much time is it going to take?” Oatmeal, apples and other healthy food that doesn’t take much effort is my go to. Depending on my schedule, I may not have much time in the morning and I have a tendency to grab random unhealthy food or just skip breakfast. I try to get something easy and healthy because I'll be more likely to actually eat it. I feel much better when I have a good diet and exercise routine. It seems to make my other goals easier to achieve. You are what you eat! Also, room temperature water is my drink of choice during a long day at work. It’s not gross, it’s delicious and healthy. Have a nice day!

This is a great add. And to clarify: I'm not anti-water... I'm just one of the strange people who can't stand the taste of it so struggles with it (I do force myself to drink it! And I agree room temperature is where it's at.)

@@JenniferBrick I’m sure you addressed this somewhere, and I know you mentioned you worked for Salesforce, but mind me asking what your background is in? I’m a marketer so RU-vid gets exhausting for me when people are extra but I just see snake oil…”do this certification and you can make $100k in less than 6 months.” I don’t get those vibes from you and I REALLY appreciate how you communicate your audience. It’s making your binge worthy without the anxiety.

Hi Jennifer, I’m wondering if you’ve ever read the book, called the greatest salesman in the world, part two, the end of the story. It’s by OG Mandino. Based on seeing previous videos of yours, I’m wondering if his advice for success in career and life is outdated in some of the principles listed (but maybe not all of them).

The editing is too severe. There are times when you do need to leave the breathing spaces in as no-one talks constantly without breathing and thinking space. It's like using commas and full stops. They give the listener time to assimilate and process what you have said. This was the most uncomfortable video to listen to, which is ashame, as the content seemed good.
