I would love to have a teammate like Dimework. He makes it so easy to win. Just play D and move the ball. Getting wins is the ultimate goal. Doesn’t matter how it happens.
Literally just had this conversation with randoms, the experience this year is NOT like last, I can’t quit out on bums and live my best life while keeping my color rank; color rank is important because most of the time it’s the culprit for matchmaking. Got into a full blown argument cause a dude was a horrible inside big hogging the paint and nobody can cut and also there’s no spacing smh!
Does that matter for matchmaking I’ve been purple/gold a few times and still get terrible teammates it’s at the point now I just quit and don’t care if I’m black
@@bunchy215Facts, last year I gauged my teammates off of teammate grade and if they averaged a decent amount of assists. They need to bring back the stats and teammate grade back in the locker room, purple/gold don’t mean shit I swear.
“I already know I’m dealin wit a BOZO” 😂😂 facts tho they should take the double circle flop shit I hate when people do that when they take a bad shot and don’t get back on D
I’ve noticed that randoms don’t like small guards. I can be playing great on a small guard and people will hate and play keep away with the ball. Then load in on a big guard and get the ball the majority of the time I need it.
Because most ppl with small guards don't know how to play, they have a build with no defense, all offense then quit when they miss they first 3 shots and a leave short ai with no defense at the pg ... there's definitely a stigma to small guards
I swear rec randoms kill me, i had a similar situation last night running with randoms. I had 36 point and 7 assists going into the 3rd quarter with a 10 point lead and the other 3 ended up quitting leaving just me and the center next thing i know im being iced out from the center spamming for the ball so i say screw it, i sit back and watch as he proceeds to go 9/27 and 1/13 losing us the game by 47 points ☠️☠️☠️
Bro I feel you. Got put in the rec with a center and 3 ai players and the opponent had 3 guys 2 ai. Game was going good I had like 15 points on good shooting and the center like 12, 10 on good shooting aswell. 4th quarter comes around and we have a 8 point lead and the center stops setting up screens for me (we were running pick and roll for the most part) and demands the ball in the post. Im like okay our strategy worked until now but whatever. Im giving him the ball in the post and he shoots immediately (ofc bricks). Did that like 2 more times and he bricks again. Lost by 10 in the end for no reason other than him wanting to be the star all of a sudden. Mind you he had 1 more shot than me in the first 3 quarters. Cant make this shit up🤦♂
what pisses me off is not playing defense and thinking you’re getting the ball on offense. I just played with a center who gave up 43 points on all step backs and post hooks. had the nerve to get mad he wasn’t touching the ball
Man imma always rock with you dime, you always preaching “play your role” and that’s the biggest change in my game this year Fr. Thank you for all ya content brodie ❤🎉
I always appreciate your breakdowns and analysis in this frustrating random rec. When I play in rec, you literally come out with an instant headache. Great video Dime! 👍 ✌️
Facts man!!! My friend and I hopped in the rec and the other 3 dudes were doing crazy stuff. They all quit down 20… then my friend and I ended up winning by 15 😂 don’t understand these people sometimes
Man you mentioned something I feel was really frustrating I’m 2k23….. the floaters. The is no reason why floaters are so sorrry this year. Especially when you build a build with high close shot and layup. I have a 90+ in both those attribute for a player and i bricked a wide open floater. I was hot. It was perfect in 2k22. I hope they address this in 2k24. Good video as per my guy. Stay doing ya thing
Hey Dime, your videos have inspired me to play 2k after ditching it after 1 month after release and I hadn't played a 2k in 10 years. But I've been having fun in random REC games. I have hope knowing most people have the same experience I have in the REC centre.
2k gave us a builder were you can make a build that can do everything and dude still come in with no ability to create offense or play defense it’s honestly insane
Dime we need some sub games for 24, still need the rec random content but I would def like to see you run it up with some supporters, could get their pov on why they did what they did and all types of options for content purposes, i'm definitely making a center off the rip so I wont be dunk contest judging LMAO, great video man, just a suggestion
Once again you talked facts about randoms ! This year I made An SF athletic finisher 6”9 and I’ve been decent with him… the best game I ever had with him was 30 points 10 rebounds and 9 assists WITH AN LOST 🤣🤣 it’s like randoms hate to see you doin good I’ve had games where I was out of rhythm plenty times it’s times where I only scored 8 points but I’ve done other things to make up for it . People have to be ok with not being the main scoring option but randoms wouldn’t understand that💯🤦🏽♂️
Love the REC random videos man. Best 2k youtuber without a doubt 🐐 I also just stopped worrying about my REC win percentage cause it's like what can I do? If you care too much it will make you insane lol
W video and tough. I remember I watch a 2k22 rec video of u coming back against a full team of 5 when ur whole team quit. Floaters are hard. I noticed the pro touch badge doesn't work for reverse layups
Can’t stand when I be having like 20 and 10 and it be that one random saying I ain’t passing the ball or facilitating. NO YOU JUST NOT GETTING THE BALL CUZ YOU AINT OPEN
If quitting games had more consequences and team grade had more of an impact on your player leveling up, dudes would have no choice but to get right or don’t play.
this is actually why i prefer to play with a scoring guard over a pass first guard. now i like pass first guards too but i want someone who can be a primary scorer and get buckets while making the smart pass at times
bro the thing i hate most about playing with randoms is they don't know how to space out properly. i got a 6'9 3 level shot creator and i HATE it when my center be setting me screens like i need them, they just get it in my way when i try to iso on the perimeter or drive and they refuse to cut when the paint is open i can drop 33 5 and 9 on 12/14 from the field and 6/7 from 3 and still get sold by my bum ass teammates got me feelin like im Dame 😂😂
I run solo rec everyday at least 2-3 games. I run the 1-5. I pass, score, and defend. The random shit got so bad I started running play now online farming VC fam it’s that rough in the rec.🤣🤷🏾♂️ Salute Dimework
I didn't notice until the start of the 4th qtr last night that I was running laps without touching the ball until I went for an open dunk and my team called a time out with scores tied... so I held the inbound for a violation and proceeded to stand in the key 3 seconds every offensive trip until they threw me the ball again. We ended up winning in OT and I got 20 points in the final 2mins of the 4th and OT to end and win by 12. I just wanna win REC games man.
Even some of my most egotistical friends are ok with me scoring 55 if we're winning. They feed me the ball cause they wanna win. I don't know why these randoms can't think like that.
Yo for 2k24 can we get another dribble tutorial when you find your grove. Those PG dribbles guides and guides were solid and help me approve significantly
the fact that your teammates have all the rec exclusive accessories from the season quests on showing that they play this game all day everyday and they’re still terrible…. i just don’t get it
Bro I rann with randoms the wholeeeeeeeee year and this is accurate ima bucket in rec but 95% of the time randoms are gonna hate I lost multiple games with 40 50 points and still lost because randoms don’t know how to switch on defense
What’s crazy is they know their terrible asf don’t even get me started on these pg”s who wanna rim off the pick n roll everytime and not read the coverage 😂😂😂
I swear I go through this everytime, these clowns rather lose the game with them missing contested shots instead of doing what it takes to win. 2k should make it where it matches you up with teammates that gets a similar teammate grade that you get in the rec.
It’s some people who playing center and pg that have no business at those spots. Literally the 2 most important positions on the team. Neither can be ass if you want to win.
Idgaf about win % in August 😅and neither my stats coz it's never gonna be good if I play randoms 90% of the times. I play coz I love hooping. I had to make a build last month to be able to create my own shots and play D on my own coz it's really rare to have good randoms😢.
I play center and im happy getting rebounds, ast and blks. If i get 10pts im happy. I also know im not the best scorer. I don't even put dribbling on my main big. Getting that w is all i care about
The shit is soooo sad bro. I forget what year it was but 2k used to have a ranking system post match and you gave a nigga a smiley face or a sad face and it was supposed to help encourage matchmaking with people who vibed and prevent shit like this from happening more than once.
Rec Randoms are a totally different species that need to be studied bro lmaoo shit is crazy how flawed they think. I had this one dude start selling 2 MINUTES into the 1st quarter sayin he won’t gettin the ball, so me nd my boy try to start gettin him involved more and by half he got lik 15 shots and the rest of us got lik 6 and he still gon talk about “Yall not passing Im gettin shots off rebounds”….. HE HAD 3 REBOUNDS, then said “oh and steals too”… HE ONLY HAD 2 STEALS, then proceeded to sell as we lost by lik 30 🤣🤣🤦🏽♂️
