K swapping my 10th gen Si is a dream, would be the FK8 K20 or the one in the 2.0T accord whichever is easier to procure also cause im pretty sure the engine mounts are similar

Congratulations Gavin, I’m impressed with your resolve and persistence. I have been considering swapping my 20 si coupe for a while now and I am glad you produced this content. Very informative and nice to know the hurdles I’d be up against. I am curious what you think about the k20c1 swap as opposed to the c4 now that you have been through everything. I know that money is obviously a large consideration, but I’d imagine so many hurdles could have been avoided with a complete donor vehicle, using engine, trans, cooling, factory harness, ecu, axles with suspension and wide body conversion. A monumental project I’d imagine, but yours didn’t seem like a cake walk either. Either way, amazing work. Thanks for documenting it all for us!

Hello Gavin, I just broke a piston in my civic SI and unfortunately I have not found the L15B7 engine of the SI, I bought the one from a L15B7 from a Honda turbo ELX that I got, what consequences or problems will the car give me in the future knowing that it no longer It is the pure SI engine, now I will put the L15B7 of a civic ELX with the OEM SI turbo, please, if you have experience in this it would be very helpful, I thank you

I’m getting the same p0046 code after I installed my prl turbo kit and the actuator flew off when I did a pull I reglashed it and everything and it still keeps going into Limp mode

Wonder if this swap can be done with the manual hatch 10th gen
