So….. I got a k20C2 and I really want to k20c4 swap it, is it different with an si ecu and Lx ecu? I’m just wondering because I know it’s turbo and Lx’s aren’t turbo Also, I’m brand new to all this and yea I have no idea
Also, just pull the pins for the VTech control wires out of the PCM harness of the accord and slide them into the PCM plugs of the si harness, run the wires along the firewall and plug em in, pretty good chance the si PCM can control the VTech once you add the wires to the PCM plugs.. and if it doesn't, just toss the accord PCM in.. then everything will work.. your 2nd gear surging prolly is due to VTech stuck in high.. u need vtech operational or u will have issues
I used to have that misfire issue with my 18 Si. For me it was actually Hondata causing it. I had only found 1 other person reporting it anywhere online. Switching to KTuner fixed it and I've never had a misfire since, but where you're already using KTuner I dunno what could be the cause
this thing is so cool! I have a 2018 si, and I love the fact that people are already swapping these. And more importantly, the swap is done well. People tend to skip alot of steps in route to getting their car back on the road asap. But this looks factory all the way! I appreciate the oem ecu, the AC, no dash lights, etc.
Just like Subarus Hondas are like legos you can swap old parts for new vice versa as it’s all pretty much plug and play.. so much easier and nicer knowing you can do this 👍🏽
sick build my guy. you should def swap a k20z3 or do a frankenstein motor (any k24 bottom end and a k20z3 rbc head.) you could easily get that bitch up to 10k plus rpm’s. impressive build tho brother and keep up the good work! i like that you still got ac too LMAO
