Photographing the Andromeda Galaxy
I rented an Airbnb about 45-minutes away from my home to photograph the Andromeda Galaxy. I set up my camera and telescope under Bortle Scale class 4 skies, which is a lot darker than my light-polluted backyard at home.

The final image includes 60 x 3-minute exposures at ISO 1600 using my Canon EOS Ra camera. I stacked the individual exposures in DeepSkyStacker with dark, bias, and flat frames to calibrate the image.
The calibrated, 3-hour integration was then processed in Adobe Photoshop using the methods described in my image processing guide. Clear skies!
