the “i yelled at oli in walmart earlier and that would have been our last interaction” made me laugh so hard as a doggy mom. we have all been there 😂 but dogs are (sometimes) smart im glad he knew to come back from where he left
I feel an inevitable breakup coming after an 11 year relationship. Once I am able to, after this, I am going to try to get a van to travel again... but without addictions and with stable mental health this time. Your videos have kept the healthy side of the nostalgia going for me, and I'd love to travel 'right' this time instead of being a drunk, depressed mess that drove from truck stop to downtown to truckstop and passed by all the real adventures. Thanks for the years of inspiration.
As a dog mom of 3 boys that are my life I teared up at the beginning and also felt bad that now Oli is on a leash after his bad decisions lol You are a great dog mom and sometimes things just happen! Dont beat yourself up. Im SO SO SO glad you found your bby!!
So glad you found him and he was safe❤️. He’s a cutie. Not sure if you know but they have gps collars and that may help give you peace of mind especially with traveling
I was never worried by your opening line as dogs have a loyal streak a mile wide and a homing instinct. The talent agency thing is thrilling and I hope they come through for you so we can enjoy yours and Ollies adventures for years to come. I am also very happy it was still cold enough the rattlesnake wasn't active (or was it dead?) either way bullet dodged. Love your peaceful and reflective demeanor. Thank you for being and sharing your life with the world Stephi.
The love doggo knows from you is much greater than a little scolding😉! It fills me with so much joy to see you out hiking with friends getting group tatties and living it up Steph❤️. I get it with the social balance and being mindful to own it in a positive way too. Its such an ease to have friends that get it too!
Hi Stephi! Oh my gosh Thank God you found Ollie and thanks for telling us in the beginning of the video I saw the title and clicked so fast!!!! It is soooo beautiful in Utah wow thank you for showing me such beauty! Those hot springs looked awesome!!!!! I love the journey you are on I think there is no better way to live! My husband and I just bought our bus and I cannot wait to start the build so we can start our adventure!! I am in Connecticut and the furthest west I have been was western Tennessee haha I just cant wait to go out to Utah and Oregon I hear Oregon is just spectacular thats wonderful you are heading that way!! I am turning 56 in July and I just cant wait to build our bus and hit the road!!!! You are such an inspiration to me and thank you for showing me that if you can do it I know that I can too!!!!!!
So precious, glad you have your best friend around, i can't imagine how stressed out you became. My dog Spirit is a border collie and she is my soul mate. The love is genuine
So glad that you found Ollie! Sounds like you are having a great time going wherever the road takes you. You will absolutely love the Pacific Northwest! I live in Portland, Oregon. Lots of cool vintage stores, good beer, food carts, art and fun events happening all of the time. I spend every moment I can at the coast--the views are breathtaking. I think you would find your zen there. The coast is Ollie-friendly, he would probably love running on the beaches there. If you come to Portland or Seattle, be really careful where you park your van overnight so it doesn't get broke into. Highway rest areas are much safer than staying anywhere in the downtown areas. Eugene is really cool, too, and has a great vibe. Safe travels & Peace Always!
The beginning of this was great. Always love in your dogs. They love you unconditionally. And their lives are way to short. I've only seen the last few of your clips but your always loving on your pup ❤️
I love your videos, you are such an inspiration to me, I’m 55 with five grown children, I don’t regret the life I have lived but I would have loved to do what your doing, I always wanted to be free, even now I feel like a caged bird, who knows, maybe it’s not too late for me, thank you for making your wonderful videos, I see the world through your eyes and it’s beautiful, thank you again👍👍❤️❤️
It’s never too late, Barbie! You can totally chase your dreams and live a gypsy lifestyle. Given that you have your family/ kids, it will probably make the adventurous lifestyle even more special/ like having the best of both worlds. Good luck! 💕
Glad you found your dog ,lost mine once for 3 weeks I was crushed til I found her again.Someone answered my ad in paper and found her.Congrads on the sponsor. Also you will def love Northern California when you go,Silver Lake is amazing and Shasta as well.Icehouse lake is great to near Pollock Pines,CA.Quite a drive up there though but secluded and peaceful.
Make sure you always check him for ticks. I lost my beautiful silver Labradoodle to Lyme disease last year. He was covered with ticks. Broke my heart! He was the sweetest thing you'd ever know. Wouldn't harm a fly. Miss my 90 pound Bear! 😭
So glad you found him! @stephilee if you ever have the desire to come to Vermont you have an open invitation to park and camp on lake Champlain. Also have a lot next to Jay Peak ski resort up in the mtns for skiing, hiking, biking and swimming holes… can send you some pics. Wish you Safe travels and all the best!
I feel so bad when I've gotten loud with my pets, but I do quickly go back to patience and loving cause all my pets have been rescue and went from anti-social (even a ferral cat) to lovies. So that makes me be super careful. Olie is a lovie and he reflects his owner so he would come back.
I’m up in Oregon in the Portland area, lots of rain this year. Been camping all around the area last 2 months. Snow up on hood last week, now we have warm dry days. You should enjoy the area.
I have spent many days walking my neighborhood screaming my chihuahua's name, ugly crying because he decided to have an adventure. In the end he would be in someone's yard growling and snapping at me when I picked him up and anyone looking on probably sure I abused him. 15 years with him and I would happily do it all again if given a chance. Glad you found your fur kid..
yes!! come to Washington, we actually are still having tons of rain and 60 degree weather but next week is the first time we are going to hit anything above 72 this year so it will be warmer ❤️
You can get a gps tracking collar for your dog. Also getting your dog chipped can help with return if some tries to actually steal your dog. The snake was a bullsnake, they eat rattlesnakes. They are harmless to humans.
I haven't been subscribed to your channel very long, but my heart sank the moment I saw the title to this vlog. I have always loved dogs, but I have a certain affinity to Big White Dogs. Over the last few decades I have been so thankful to have known my 3 great pyrenees babies. I'm not sure if Ollie is a Great Pyr or not, but when I first saw her in one of your vlogs I thought she/he might be. They truly are beautiful dogs and so loyal as friends. I am glad that Ollie found his way back. I think one of the first things I was told about the Pyr breed was how stubborn they are, but the second warning was that they are wanderers... not sure if chasing a deer falls into that realm. Once again, so happy that she/he wasn't lost for too long.... I pray that your travels are safe, and that your life is filled with adventure and joy.
My heart drop when I saw the title! I went right to the comment section. Thank Goodness you have him. My male pup has the same name. I swear, Ollie’s, have a special personality. It’s like they were meant to be Ollie’s/Oly/Oliver’s. I know, I sound bananas! I love my fur babies.
Updated: I just happened to see your channel, and others similar channels recently, and I think that you, and others sharing their actual reality, and some have expressed some of the up, and down sides to van, RV, or vehicle living. I believe that it is very helpful, and beneficial to others who may be thinking about this type of living without actually thinking through, about the some of the realistic problems that could occur with vehicle or van living etc. People need to know what up sides there are, as well as some of the down sides of vehicle living. I believe this channel, and other channels have been informative to others, including myself. Although, I am NOT living in a vehicle or anything like this. I feel that you , and others RU-vidrs sharing this with your viewers will be very helpful. I wish you ALL the Best with your traveling endeavors. I shared this with another traveler as I watched their RU-vid channel for the first time, as yours, and I shared with them this information that may be helpful to you as well to others. Therefore, I would also like to suggest a few Safety tips, and items that may help you, or others in your viewing audience. Although, you may have knowledge of this already, I am not sure, so I hope this will be helpful to you, others or someone. *Keep a Extra working cellphone with you or in your vehicle. You can purchase inexpensive phone with a very low monthly price between 25, 35, 45, dollars a month with unlimited data and text, and some have Nationwide coverage Do your research for the best fit for you Carry Several Extra portable phone chargers, and cables. Consider theses items: *Mini portable power charging station. I have also seen outdoor portable solar powered power stations, that can be recharged from sunlight this may be very useful to have, to power your devices. *Invest in a Cellular signal booster for outdoor use, and camping situations to boost or amplify your cell signal and reception. Research to see what you prefer. *Very Inportant: Invest in a SOS distress electronic signal device, this a kind of device can send out a distress signal with your exact location. There are various types of these devices, and including devices that can be used when boating or camping situations. *Some have emergency Strobe lights SOS signaling with location alerts, and location updates that can be sent to your family, and emergency first responders. Some can be synchronized with your smart watch or phone. You can check online, and on Amazon, research what SOS devices will be a good fit for you. *Mini portable vehicle battery jumper charger *vehicle battery jumper cables *Vehicle Jumper cables *Keep a Fire extinguisher handy *Mounted Dashboard camera front and rear possibly. Exterior vehicle cameras Interior vehicle cameras *Flashlights or pluggin spotlights *Portable spotlights, and lanterns Keep a few whistles around with you, and in your vehicle possibly in your vehicle’s center console *A set of long range 2 way radios, walkie talkies, to communicate with others during trips, some have 100 mile radius keep for emergencies. Use your own discretion regarding the use of any weapons. Don’t forget to bring Bear Spray Pepper spray Where is allowed If you own a drone you can use it to survey your area for animals etc. However, Please Be Safe and Beware of your Surroundings. Stay Alert, even when stopping at Rest stops, Truck Stops Keep in often contact with your family, friends etc. Although, I just noticed your RU-vid channel, and other similar channels. You seem Very Aware of your surroundings and Alert, and you may be aware of many of these suggestions, however, I Don’t know, so I just posted this anyway to help anyone who may benefit from these suggestions. Keep up with the latest Weather Updates, beware and prepare for unexpected Weather events and conditions. Keep your vehicle gas filled Don’t chance your Safety by running your vehicle fuel or gas too close to Empty. Fill it up anyway, it will save you alot of time, and headache later on. Remember to keep up on routine maintenance, check your tires for wear, keep up with your fluids for your vehicle, like oil levels, washer fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze. Remember Because you are on the road riding for sometimes very long distances, and long periods of time, I would suggest investing in 2 sets of tires, and a spare, the extra set to rotate. Check the mileage ratings on your tires they all very. Conduct visual inspections of your tires often, check for damage, wearing, air pressure, etc Keep a pressure gauge to check your tires pressure and a tire pump. Keep Extra financing, and savings for any unexpected issues, vehicle repairs, and overnight stays, in a emergency or if you need to rest indoors. Keep Enjoying Yourself, Keep Enjoying the outdoors, and Nature Just..Please continue to Be Positive, Safe, and Alert.. Wishing Success, Well-being and Happiness You All. God Bless You, and everyone Traveling, or living in their vehicles, Vans, RVs, etc. Please Be Safe... I got attacked by a German Sheppard last week. I still like dogs & Ollie seems like such a sweetheart. But thanks for keeping him leashed/muzzled since you feel that's appropriate. I appreciate seeing good dog safety. I'm glad you found him! He must've had the time of his life chasing that deer 🦌
I have heard that if your dog runs away that you shouldn't move because as long as they don't get stuck they will always return to the same place that they ran from.
What Quinn said. Yep. 😊 My first destination once Vanning full time in August will be Cali-Or-Wa-Idaho. So so nice! Hey Stephi, you should hit The Redeoods/Eureka. Redwood National Park and ocean. So beautiful. ✌🏼 sister! ❤️
Awww ☺️ so glad U found Ollie That would have sucked So bad blessings He’s still Ur buddy always. Scarey when they get out of sight - hugs 🫂 u reconnected with Him 🐕
As ALWAYS Stephi, keep your video journaling on going. It OBVIOUSLY helps so many and in so many different ways. Peace, Love, & Harmony.... ( ... just don't take no chit)!
PNW WELCOMES YOU! I Live in Oregon and am from here.. Lived here my entire 30 Yearts.. Its great here in the summer time! but winter is usually all clouds and rain rain rain! did I mention RAIN?? 🙁🌧🌧☂Can be pretty depressing at times... But if you do come to Oregon this summer,☀🌻 WELCOME! and I hope you have fun & great experiences!💗 😘
My gradfather always took his dog hunting. The dogs always left and he would be like they will be back like its normal. And they came back before dark like its curfew. Ate dinner and layed in his tent like they was in heaven.
Stephi I really feel like the Pacific Northwest will be your favorite spot yet! I may be biased, but it's truly the most beautiful place I've ever been to on this whole wide Earth and there's truly nothing like it.
I'm glad you found your pup ❤️ You'll love Washington if you come here. It's so beautiful. I'm near the Tacoma area. Mt. Rainier National Park is a must see!
I live in Humboldt County, CA in way Northern California and this would be a great place for you to stay for a bit! Lots of beaches and redwoods, hiking trails, campgrounds, cool art and an interesting scene in Arcata you would probably enjoy. Hope you get to stop and see some beautiful, giant, old redwoods!
To feel less stress I got a Tractive device. It is a GPS for pets, that they have to wear in their collar. When something like this happens, I look at my mobile phone and know where my pet is. Stress is down by a lot, in my case, since I have it. It is pricey but in my case, worth it.
You are always amazing stephi love your intelligent videos always so excited to see you love your laugh you are such a beautiful person love you stephi I always look up to you

I hear you! My oldest son did that to me at the beach. He was 3 years old. Literally just blinked and he was gone. Long before cell phones. His dad kept walking the beach looking and I went across the road and down the street to where my mom and grandmother were renting a cottage. He had just gotten there. He said, "Why were you scared? I knew where I was!"
@4:20 I had to stay in a relative's home for a month with no running water. Drove 3 miles to the local casino every time I needed bathroom time LOL. At least they were open 24/7.
Ironic when I found your channel was the one where you and your dad was talking on the porch about you in school. Me and my daughter are like the wonder twins we are 1000 of miles apart we cause of skype and zoom we are not . actually it was before then I'm getting old 57 strong and getting younger. now that I think about been watching you from the start admire your strength and fortitude much respect and blessings forever
You're as always majorly saving my life motivational and the most beautiful female in the world. Salute , blessings to everyone grind and motivations.....
