how does she make/save money with living in just her car? id personally save for a van but a car seems like the faster cheaper option and i would make do. but how does she do things? guess i could check out her page huh lol..
I love how you just meet all these people on the road and do things like this. Also, I feel the introverted conundrum of seeming antisocial when you go quiet. Sometimes it’s nice to just observe everyone else while quietly recharging yourself
The crazy thing is that she's 31 and tall... don't get me wrong, 31 is young in most respects, but I don't think most 31 year olds can handle living in a car that small unless they are under 5'2 and still blessed with no joint issues. I was already having problems in my late twenties and no way could I have done this.
@@automnejoy5308 I also live in a Honda civic datz wat I hate da most scrunchin in da back I wake up everyday with my legs hurtin I am 5 '6 tall ,36 yrs old
@@dd___dc Oh wow... that sucks. I highly, highly recommend that you get a van. I'm afraid you're doing damage to your joints that will only get worse. Your body is warning you right now.
@@automnejoy5308 thanks for da kind words. I am unfortunately struggling I been applying for a regular job 9-5 but still haven't landed a job. I have app base job it fluctuate too much.dat Is my goal/dream 2 buy a cargo van 1 day and build it out myself even thou I have no experience.wen it hurts too much and in gets unbearable I go in 2 da woods and set-up my 1 person hiker tent and lay down 4 a bit
I loved stephi videos ever sense I started watching a few years backvshe has a beautiful and inspiring soul a warm personality and is soft spoken she adds beauty to an ugly world and she shows us that we are one with nature.
This was a totally interesting and entertaining video. I enjoyed watching you two having a picnic together and your experience in the civic Stephi. Easy to understand challenges of living in such a tiny space as a honda civic but i was surprised Nikita didn't have anything positive to say about her van experience.
Your filming and editing have gotten SO good these days! I've been thinking about camping in my Prius V wagon... but maybe I'll reconsider! Happy trails!
I stealth camp all the time in my 2018 Civic Hatchback, plenty of room because of the hatchback with the seats down, and I stay in it for 8 to 10 days quite often. I even bring my kayak and bike of the roof rack and bike rack. Forget all that "cooking" crap, just bring a cooler, keep healthy veggies, fruit, and make chicken and tuna sandwiches. And definitely have a cold beer every evening, maybe two! It works great!
I lived in a car for a week when my mum kicked me out years back and absolutely hated it lol big respect for living in a car 24/7. Another great vid thanks sweet 😋
Stephi you are a so well mannered and polite young lady, it would be an absolute honor to meet you and hang out with you even if it was for only one day. It something I don't think anyone would ever forget. Your definitely the genuine article, stay safe and well and look forward to your next vlog. ❤❤
Despite being 6'3" I would have loved to live in a car instead of being homeless. (Was homeless for a little over 4 years in Carson City) In the end we adapt with what we have.
I never liked sleeping in my car, I much prefer to plant a tent and a have a proper mattress or an inflatable one, enough of rough nights! Another thing I found I needed to have when roaming around, was a basin to wash myself more easily
Stephi, I really enjoyed that "sharing" homes video. You two really compliment each other with your artistic contributions. Thank you and Safe Travels - Frankie G.
You awesome stephi you make alternative living so interesting always to see the different way some different love you stephi love how you show the different ways you can live life
I was just about to look up Nikita's channel because I'm in a SUV and someone recommended her channel. I LOVE small spaces. And my son lived in his Camry for 5 years I think. He could have easily got an apartment but he refused to pay rent. Oh, my count is like 80 but I'm older than both of y'all. 🥰
What a strange and unique video. Stephi Lee you are a trip! Can barely wrap my head around the whole Vanlife but carlife. I have 2 dogs and start in October in a Honda Odyssey!
Haha Oh my God I lived in my Prius for a couple years. Cracking up at you saying how could you loose your lemonade in such a small space. 😂 Definitely happened almost daily! I don’t miss that part!
I find it interesting how neither of you actually enjoyed the change. I'd definitely prefer a van over a car as I suspect most people going into this type of situation blindly would.
Who couldn't love sleeping in your van with your big floof? I have a great Pyrenees as well and I can't imagine traveling without him. To each their own I guess but kudos to your van in your magnifico doggy!
Albert Camus was a weird writer, I read "The Stranger" in high school. It's good, but a little sad. He was an existentialist and a lot of his books touched on that. The stranger is his most famous work, and it talks about the meaninglessness of life and absurd-ism. I think your friend might be a little depressed or going through an existential crisis. Give her lots of hugs.
No no no don't ever do that again to our sweet adorable baby puppy doggy!! 🥺😊 I'm sure he was so confused, poor guy Lol Great video, I bet you were missing your van after that! Lol
Just home with my 2 kids (under 5) living through your videos ...don't mind me ...lmfao counting down the days until labor day weekend to go camping 🙌🏽 it's about 100 outside where i live right now in MI so I lowkey wouldn't want to be outside right now lmao
"I don't wanna be nosey and like go thru her stuff, but ooh what's this" made me laugh Also "a child called it" is a very good book, read the entire book in 1 day, but also very sad it's about a true story of child abuse. although the author's brother has said some things aren't true or none of it was, but he was also a child and he was not abused so who knows.
The recap session was the nicest possible way of insulting each other's lifestyles. LOL "I don't have much to note about it... I could never have a dog in a van, I couldn't keep anything clean, I need a water heater" and "I don't know you sleep scrunched up. It was so uncomfortable. I don't know how you've done it for 3 years"
I'm 6 ft tall and lived in my Dodge Dakota truck for a year, which is just two bucket seats in the front , a center console, and no back seats. I would often sleep with my feet out the window on a rolled up towel. You figure out how crucial it is to humans to sleep horizontal because I slept sleeping upright for 3 nights in my front seat and gotta postural edema a in my feet! It went away after walking for a whole day though.
SHOWERING: I couldn't handle a cold shower. BRRRR! But making a warm shower is easy. I boil a pan of water on the stove, then pour that into my bucket of cold water, making the temperature just right. Then I lift my 12v pump out of its jug, lower the pump into the warm bucket, and turn it on. Instant warm shower! Of course, I'm in my collapsible dog bathtub while washing myself. :)
I gotta compliment the organizational skills. Especially the honda civic. A honda odyssey is the best of both worlds 🌎 👌. Compact, good gas mileage and lots of room 👍
Do You enjoy being outside??? IM glad i found your channel and get to experience with you... You do great videos!!! Thank You greetings from Paducah, Ky 🙂👍✌☝
I took existential literature thinking I would love it. Turns out I hated it. Loved the concepts. Hated the books. I do think about The Stranger very often since then. Sisyphus often too. I just know I'll only read the summaries from now on lol.
You can, you just have to avoid the popular bits. There's still some cracking places the the papers haven't ruined with their "secret location" articles. I am with you though, totally jealous of all the space, peace and beauty they have.
@@maryannmorgan9846 yes your right there’s little areas where you can get away, but I just want to drive out to somewhere spectacular like this , all to myself , with no hassle parking , throw up a tent for a week without upsetting anyone and relax . It’s almost impossible without going to Scotland and it’s just too wet and cold up there most of the time to enjoy it (I’ve tried lol)
