I knew after reading the headline someone would be released on bail. Never fails. Give them free time to complete what was started. That family is not safe.
The purpose of bail is not whether someone commits another crime, it is to.make sure someone goes back to court. Restraining orders are given for that purpose. A judicial order to not contact victims is also given. Not giving reasonable bail is a violation of one of the Bill of Rights

Her daughter dating someone from the 8th grade. All I can say is "Wow." Maybe I'm too old fashioned. I was eleven years old in the 8th grade, yes, we had a crush on girls, but as far as someone's parents' allowing us to date their daughters or encourage us at their homes at that age, unheard of. I guess the cycle of some will never be broken.

That so sad I'm glad no one was killed. We have a young lady in our area that lost her arm to a gunshot from domestic violence.She survived and is safe. It always reminds us to keep talking to our young ones and giving them a avenue to choose a better path .They seem to be listening

I get what you're saying, but it is still a broad statement/judgement, because I know many brought up in single parent homes that are doing very well. Also, the mother in this case may or may not have been the best mother, but it really doesn't matter these days wether it's two parents or one, these children today have a mind of their own and it's hard dealing with them, so we can't always say it's the parents fault, because some of the worst criminals have come from the best homes. I have a daughter and it’s fearful to know that a relationship can be deadly. Ladies get to know someone from afar before you develop an emotional attachment.
