This Grandmother is how all grandmothers should be. I can tell she's close to her grandchildren and she loves them deeply. she's the pillar of her family. I pray her grandchildren make a full physical recovery and they get the therapy they need to overcome what they've been through. I pray this Grandmother finds peace. We're living in a cold world as grandmother myself this was emotional for me as well🙏 to this family. Growing up I was blessed to be raised by a village at that time I didn't fully understand now that I'm older ,I get it thankful I am. No their parents need to step up. They didn’t ask the government to have the children but they want the government responsible for their daily activities and lifestyle. I cried watching him cry. But at the same time the reason this grandmother is raising this child is the same reason why this 14 year old suspect is lost. I never left my kids outside at that age or in the house by themselves and this is a prime example why. I took them to the babysitter until my oldest son was 14. What has this World come kids can't even play outside without them being harmed🙏🙏🙏🙏

As a parent you should know what your kids doing at all times I'm 51 my daughter is 33 she's the only child and I knew what she was doing every second of the day because I chaperone every second of the day parents need to worry about what they kids doing instead of hanging out trying to be a damn kid they self.
It's impossible 4 every parent 2 know what all of their children r doing every second of the day. It's unrealistic. I work n health care. When a Dr. s performing surgery, they cannot check on their kid every second while doing surgery. 2 know what they're doing every second of the day means ur by their side every second of the day.

I can't believe there are people saying not everyone is a helicopter parent. This is why we will always be in these situations. Think about those helicopter parents and how their kids turn out. Alive and out of jail are just a few ways it turns out.

My prayer is that they receive not just physical healing, but emotional and mental healing (therapeutic services). And, for the teen that committed the act, he or she needs some therapeutic services too. I do understand that he is to be held accountable, the reason behind what occurred has a root to it.
