The algorithm for that was actually super fun to make... I had to make the plugin connect to the internet, access the skin servers, decode the returned result (which was encoded in Base 64), and then finally use the decoded link to get the png of the skin. It then had to figure out which format the skin was in and look at specific parts of the image to figure out the colors for the shirt, pants, and shoes.
