Relevant animation makes audio stories more enticing and immersive. While such videos take more time and effort to produce, they do compensate with increased viewer interest, which leads to more subscriptions.
As a father of a 2 year old, I'd do anything for him. He's already had up have open heart surgery before turning one. It was so damn hard keeping composure.

What a great story told by a great storyteller, an excellent animation to go with it, I wish I could give you a SUPER thumbs up, hopefully a regular thumbs up will suffice!..

If you lose a parent you become orphaned, but we have no word for the hollow existence of a parent who has lost their child and this tale shows the struggle parents undertake to make sure they never have to discover an appropriate, heartbreaking term.
I like to imagine that for an even darker twist to the story that the father is still alive now because the strange man has been offering the same deals to his daughter. He started at a young age after all and even sacrificed for his parent. So it can't be too far outside the realms of possibility

Yikes, the beginning sounds-just depressing. Poor kid. Besides that, great story, and narrations as always, Lighthouse Horror! You always had, and still have the gift of bringing the theme "horror" to a completely second level! Keep up the great work!
great story and animation! very chilling to hear ‘as long as we can make you last’ i wonder if his father sacrificed himself or if just making one deal with this demon doomed the main character and everyone he loves
As the mom of a son who has suffered with clinical depression, severe anxiety & suicidal thoughts for 19 years and the daughter of an amazing dad who died of colon cancer, this REALLY hit home, and I think it probably hit many other listeners the same way! What wouldn’t I do to save my sweet hero of a dad? What wouldn’t I give for the mental health of my beautiful, bright, brilliant boy who I love more than life itself! Would I “dance with the devil” to save either one of them? Even as a Christian, I don’t think I’d hesitate to save someone I love. Would God forgive me? I hope so, because He would understand that kind of love. Would I understand that I can’t trust the devil…absolutely. But in my mind, the benefits outweigh the risks. Amazing animation too!

I'am really blown away by this story, not only was it creepy and. ghoulish but it was also beautiful and poetic, In just the right places . I read these stories every day ,different stories by narrators. I must say, this is one of my favorite story ever! It is not inly freaky but it touched my 💙! Anyone else wondering about the daughter's quality of life? I mean, it promises time but doesn't say anything about it being normal or pleasant. I know that Dad wouldn't want to inflict pain but when you're desperate, things like that can get hazy. After working in the medical field for many years, I've seen both the good and the desperate.
Father of 4 here. This video is a bit more factual then i think some would realize. Death scares me to no end, but for my kids, close my eyes and step on up. Great as always

I would ask to no longer be physical disabled. He'd be foced to ask for something insignificant, because, it would automatically break our deal to take a body part that would just disable me differently.
I truly think the one & only unsullied love left out there in this ol' world is a parent's love for their child. That striking line from Stephen King's 'Dolores Claiborne' says it perfectly: "There ain't no BITCH ON EARTH like a mother afraid for her children." So, so true.
So fun fact back in the day the church claimed that ware wolves were people who were dreaming that they became wolves so strongly that it manifested in reality I mean there were simpler explanations but this one was entertaining

Great as usual Stephen :) I would give a finger for another hour with my mother, I'm sure most of us would who have lost ours. WOW I'm at the end now, this poor guy gave everything to save his daughter and she's still gonna go after he's done, excellent to the writer as well :)
I teared up when he was willing to give a finger for his mom. I lost my mom fairly young and although I am a grown man with his own kids, I would give a whole hand for an hour more with mine.
You always pick very good stories, but this was particularly superb. It took me a few stories to get used to your narration style, but it's now my favorite.
