Just as a side note, many of us eye doctors try to recommend alternative eye drops to Visine due to the phenomenon known as "rebound redness". Visine physically shrinks the blood vessels which reduces oxygen to the eye (making the eye look whiter), but after it wears off the redness comes back and typically causes the blood vessels become physically larger over time. I would recommend Lumify as it reduces redness by an alternative, safer method of action! Great video, looks like you had a nice trip!

I'm going to edit and say maybe in her part of Canada they don't use it as much but as far as I know, a lot of parts are starting to have to use it because it's getting too hot in all provinces now

Chris is lucky. My cat will not only start playing with my feet, he will grab my foot and start bunny kicking it. Then for some unknown reason he will stop, hug my foot, and use it as a pillow. Maybe my foot is his favorite toy.

Funnily enough, the last week or so has been pretty temperate here in Tokyo -- the rain has kept things relatively cool, and while it IS still hot out, it really isn't swelteringly hot. Like, it's to the point where you don't need the A/C overnight most nights, and you probably won't sweat that much going for a decent-length walk during the day. You may have inadvertently picked the worst possible time to escape the heat. ;) Though I'm not sure if this holds true for Miyagi as well.

Always love when ever you make a Victoria trip nostalgic to see my home town. I definitely have an ac here in Calgary but never when I lived on the coast. It is getting warmer the last few years though. If ever I move back I am getting a portable one. Hope you can take Chris one day I think he would find Victoria and Vancouver Island very relaxing. It's nice that you got to come home for a while. I live in the Pacific NW, also without AC, so, yeah, it's been hot here, but soon it will be fall, yay! Victoria is seen awesome home town! I have been there a few times and love it. It was so weird to see my local grocery store in your video. Yes it’s been very warm here in Victoria in the last few weeks. It was a very cool Spring though. Tuna does look like a handful, one reason I adopted an older cat whom is the best. I love Nanaimo bars and use my Grandmother’s recipe. Some store bought ones are close to tasting like hers but the custard isn’t as creamy. Glad you were able to visit your family.

I have a cat that doesn't know how to push a door, she only knows how to pull it 🥴She will scrunch right up to it not realizing she could just keep pushing lol. But if she is on the other side, she'll stick her paw in and yank it right open. So silly

I love blackberries! My grandfather used to have a whole field we'd pick from in the summer. I enjoy the thought of your cats terrorizing Chris. And yes, my neighbors raise peacocks, I've no idea whether to sell the eggs, feathers, or peahens, but I have seen them get loose one day stopping the cars on our road as everyone tried to herd them back.
