I Platinum'd the Worst Game Ever Made (2022 Edition) 

Congrats on your plat! Glad I could be of service to you. I too deleted this game .035 seconds after the platinum Trophy. The lack of guides for this game made the endings such a massive headache.

Ikr. They botched thir chance at making it a spinoff series. They should have just continued the story from the first game. It would have been so easy lol.

The multiple endings was the only part of the game that was just unbearable. There was not like any single guide that a 100% answer to trigger em. I thought Fran and Lou were the best main characters and that Diamond Danielle 😈😈

Yeah I quit playing it for a few months and then went back to it and suffered for another 20-25ish hours to get the platinum. I dont hate the game either and if I would have just played it once, I would have just been slightly dissapointed. Getting the platinum is what made me despise the game lol

NGL the first 10 hour playthrough wasn't horrible but the next 30 hours of playing it was atrociously boring.

Never played a final fantasy before so that's why I chose pokemon lol.

IKR getting those different endings was easily the worst part about the game. Having to sit through 2-4 hours of the same garbage dialogue and then maybe get a different ending, easily made me hate it.

@@platinumgamerscore I just did like two attempts at episode 5 with still no luck. Current final attempt got me above 50% for everyone but Brains n Brawn was too high so Fran dies? Game doesn't even show me the right endings anymore. I think I got it this time. Next attempt tomorrow. I am getting this stupid platinum. This is the worst platinum I have grinded towards

You basically just have to keep retracing constantly. It took me about 5 attempts to get the final ending I needed lol

I don't wish this on anyone. Easily one of the very worst plats. Gonna go play the first Tales to get the foul taste out of my mouth now. Get off my system, New Tales.

Yeah this game was just AWFUL. It didn't feel like a Borderlands game at all. The humor was just not up to snuff.

IKR. the amory was just atrocious. I thought it was semi-funny in a it's supposed to be dumb just laugh kind of way the first time. After I replayed the story it was just awful. It was just a massive step down from the OG Tales game and it showed.

@@platinumgamerscore they don’t seem to grow, like it took us until episode 5 to discover why Anu and Octavio had a fall out and to get the good ending you have to play how their written which was weird (I played my first play through how I felt the characters were and got the Neutral ending) and don’t get me started on the slight plot holes… like the side characters that died in episodes 4&5 didn’t need to die. I feel gearbox just didn’t want to flush their characters out in the next BL game ;-;

IKR if it would have been telltale making it, this game would've been a blockbuster. Sadly I think gearbox peaked with BL2.

awkward moment when you realise that gearbox actually hired the people from telltake games to work on this game because gearbox didnt know how to make a game like this you say they would have when they technically did make this game lol

I got stuck trying to get Fran killed for a few days. What I ended up doing was following this guide word for word starting from the beginning of the last chapter and I made sure that I messed up the vast majority of the QTEs. www.trueachievements.com/a373988/you-played-this-before-achievement

There's an entire section in there just for the Fran dies ending. It was a lifesaver.

@@platinumgamerscore I did the last chapter over and over again, could get all four other endings and now I have all relationships how it has to be under 50 procent Fran the lowest and still got skateboard ranking 82 procent with all almost qte event failed and still the neutral ending, Just going to try it one more time with this guide and fail all qte that are not necessary. If it doesn't work im going to smash the game with a hammer and throw it in a bonfire. I'm done and will never buy a story related game from gearbox again.

I followed the final chapter guide on it and failed every non required QTE and ended with like 75 percent rating between Fran & Octavio, less than 30 in the others, and a skate score of like 27.

I might give it a rip sometime. It would have been much more fun that this game was lol

@@platinumgamerscore Yeah It took me about 40 hours to beat the game. I'd say wait for the new dlc to drop then give it a go.

@@platinumgamerscore It took forever and cost them so much money but they actually turned it into a solid game. I liked it a lot. Just don't expect a 10/10 masterclass and you'll have fun.

You have to get over a 75% skateboard score. Pretty sure that's the only requirement.

Have you chose both options at the end of the game with a 75% score. I can't remember off the top of my head what exactly it took to get it. I thinks it's for reaching out to Anu and having a 75% skate score.

I mean honestly...yeah probably. I haven't heard many people actually enjoying it. The game just didn't feel like a Borderlands or a Tales game at all.

It's the worst game in the series, a terrible plot, awful characters, and horrible jokes. This game is not worth the money at all, it was possible to continue the plot of the last game, but no, they chose the worst option of all

I am sure there probably are worse games out there for mechanical reasons or some others but this one was pretty bad in comparison to its predecessor.

Yeah the problem was it wasn't made by Telltale games. Gearbox made it themselves and they went way off course with this one.

@Platinum Gamer Score okay your right but they should have someone who worked on the previous titles and brought a few of them in to work on this

Borderlands 3 is the only one I started and didn't finish so I can understand that for sure.

@@platinumgamerscore same. I finished the main campaign but didn't even start the DLC. Left such a bad taste in my mouth. It's just not the Borderlands I know in love and it took me 4 years but I finally returned to the franchise. Starting with cleaning up 2, I got 5 more achievements left. Then I'll move on to 1. I was also playing Tiny Tina's Wonderland but it isn't as good. Better than BL3 for sure but the quality is still down. Plus it stopped working on Xbox One S after a update like a year ago so I'll have to return when I get a Series X and the game can run at more than 5 frames per second lol. Great video though, keep up the awesome content!
