Its amazing they took this long to get a Sword Art Online game with an actual Online focus. The other games had online, but it wasnt usually the focus.

I'll be honest, i love sao but the thing i hate is when i can't play the story from the perspective of my own character like in fatal bullet and integral factor.

I "love" how the guy they chose to represent the mage class is that god awful ALO villain. (The old guy that captured Asuna and Kirito beat in a street fight on a parking lot.) If he's playable, no one is off-limit, and that's kind of encouraging. (Although Asuna or a Sleeping Knight would have made more sense in his place.)

Sao has had like 12 different games and they still can’t give us an open world rpg where we make our own character and also have online 💀

Instead of picking characters let us make our own n choose the class we want to be

For the first time, an SAO game actually got me interested… I’ll keep an eye on this one. Hope it delivers. Though truthfully speaking, what I’ve always wanted in an SAO game isn’t just a combat like this but to explore the world too be it alone or multiplayer. Maybe something like this but combined with something similar to the world and exploration of FFXIV, we can start with a slow build up even. Every big update is another “floor”/expansion and you have to finish the main quest or boss to have the next floor accessible, in exploration you get to meet small enemies in their habitat and in the main story you get to meet the casts too here and there even fight alongside them with your custom character. Make it an else world or an era after the events of SAO. Have classes for more variety in gameplay etc. Though it’s a high budget request and it’s not a guarantee success even if they do it but I hope we get something like that one day.

i cant wait for the 2nd test the first one only had at a max when i was playing 10 players on at a time due to how early in the morning it was. My first mission had me do an escort quest so that is something for you to look forward too XD

I've been going back to Fatal Bullet for some time now because of how good it was, specially the Kagemitsu Animation, which is weird that I love the Sword Animations in a Shooting Game. Now I'm glad Dimps actually is behind this but I'm holding back because it seems that most of the good stuff are locked online. I was willing to get this on day 1 but it seems that Offline Mode only has Story Mode. I just hope it has all the Online Modes be replaced with CPU in Offline and with some PVPs also playable with CPUs.

They finally got the graphics right and jumping is back! Might consider buying it since I enjoyed Lycoris.

Honestly, pretty impressed with how it looked during the beta. Still needs polish, but I can see it being fun, especially with a group of friends.

Integral Factor is still the best sao game imo. 100% has the best story at least

I actually thought Integral Factor was the most in depth SAO game and had actual online focus But the gacha mechanics I guess *kinda* shoot that in the foot

Everything up to fatal bullet was a godsend, fatal bullet being the best and lost song next. Lycoris and last recollection are embarrassments, like the idea they had going was great but poorly executed.

No character creation. Character level? I thought the point was equipment and combat skill upgrades? Intergal Factor has that.

Imagine this didn't have the SAO paint job.. it would be a solid 2.5/10 game. Which means with the SAO paint job, it's 1/10.

So this gave us just like the Avengers and suicide squad.

This game looks dope, but clearly VERY unpolished. It needs more cinematic stuff for the Ults and links for sure, and the enemies/player animations need to be smoothed out, they look super stiff imo. I hope they polish it up and make it as great as i really hope it will be!

I hate Kirito, that's why the only "good....ish" SAO game is fatal bullet. I hope there's a create your character and a "story/gameplay" surrounding your OC, and not focus on Kirito even if you change his appearance. Like the gameplay though, now just imagine this with fully explorable-ish environment like a real MMORPG.

Fatal bullet was amazing. We got our own character they had their own story and we could "date" other characters. Sao games on the other is just playing as kirito again. It's like the devs hate money and refuse to acknowledge the success of fatal bullet in favor of the same Sao game we already played
