Here is a tip for you. Draw a circle the same as your coin. Set it to cut. Tape down some construction paper and cut it. You design should be in that circle in your design software. Just skip the cut, lay the coin in the cut hole and you will Have a perfect alignment

Awesome. A tip for the laser is when using on wood use air assist. If you don't have it you can pick up the kit for 130 bucks it will allow you to get the dark engravings without the smoke stains and blurred edges.

@@SilverSeeker and it still burned fuzzy. Dang i don't use bass wood much I use Baltic birch and don't have that issue. Try going at half the power but with 2 passes.

@@Self.reliant *nods* Yea, for the 2nd COA I did turn the power down, but it still may have been a bit too high. If you notice there weren't any smoke marks at the actual cut... you would figure if they were going to be anywhere it would be there right? LOL

@@SilverSeeker that would make sense. But I have a 20 watt optical output blue laser. An atom stack a5 with an upgraded laser head and I get more burning or smoke staining when engraving due to the laser making many side by side passes in 1 area. Are you using light burn? If so there is a cross hatch setting for fill that looks sweet. I think that would look awesome with your logo. If you use it change overlap to 0% and line spacing I do 1.4mm

@@Self.reliant I don't use lightburn yet, mainly because it's doesn't support wireless and my PC isn't exactly close to my laser. I need to make room for my laptop near the laser engraver then I may be able to use Lightburn. The one cutting the wood is also a 20W blue laser btw. :)

thats a great way to breath new life into those cull dollars, I buy a ton of slicks my self and I do chemical toning to see what looks nice and what doesn't so far nothing beats natural toning.

Was that genuine circulation wear on those silver dollars? If so, they might have fetched a premium if any could have been graded as P01. Either way, I hate to see genuine circulation coins altered. There’s something really cool about a coin that has seen so much circulation.

Awesome content. I’m new to this channel, joined a few weeks ago. I do a lot of silver jewelry auction buy/sell. Starting to get in to bullion from this channel and r/silverbugs. Can you consider explaining copper stacking? Is it worth the investment with copper increasing in value? I see a large price difference between the spot price of copper and the ask price for a 1oz bar.

What's typically a good price to pay over spot for junk silver? I just paid 19x face for 10 halfs and a roll of dimes. It was cheaper than SD Bullion so I snagged it quickly.
