Yeah, but he doesn't really practice anymore. I was curious and had my real estate friend look into it he mainly has his own investment properties and income from RU-vid and various investments he works off of, but I think in his recent Vegas video he may have mentioned he does RU-vid full time.

@Lawrence L. Hello Sir, I just wanted to address something you said. While I do not know Graham Stephan personally and only know of him through watching videos, attacking a person's character is not the right thing to do especially when there is no evidence to dat to support such claims. Making assumptions on a person's character based on stereotypes is not wise either. While he is someone who knows how to work the RU-vid algorithm it is something he, like many creators (Monica Church for example), have had to do in order to continue providing us, the viewers, a service. Most creators did not start working on the platform to make an income from it. They start it as either a release for fun or because they have some knowledge that they wish to share with others. Most of them are running a business as the enterprising, savvy, amazing entrepreneurs that seek to provide information. Remember RU-vid is at it's core, a search engine. It is only right for them to gain a reward for their efforts and watching an ad to support someone who is providing a service is not a bad thing nor does it (usually) take too much of your time. Also, most sales people are not evil scum who just want to use you for their own benefit. Most are just working to keep themselves alive just as anyone else is. Not intending to harm someone else. RU-vidrs, like Graham and Monica, also provide a service and the ad sense helps them to continue to make their content for our benefit. Granted there are some bad apples but that is no justification to make claims that attempt to drag someone's name through the mud and call someone a leech based on the few rotten choices of a few select people. If you are still not thrilled by their presence, then do not watch them. Watch and support those that will bring you enjoyment and not make you feel negatively about things such as this. You have that power but please try to remember not to stereotype others. You may miss a lot of wonderful people by doing that. @Lawrence L. you're right. Whether we do the right thing or how we treat others...that is a moment by moment choice we all have to make. Sometimes we fail. Sometimes horribly so. We can either choose to be good or we can choose to do the wrong thing. We can also choose if we allow those things to make us jaded and angry and become unkind ourselves as a result of someone else's actions. Or we can *choose* to see the good in others and ourselves. Of course, you know, that takes patience, effort and a whole lot of forgiveness. But it's better than the alternative. Hatred and anger only beget more hatred and anger and stereotyping doesn't help us to find those moments of good. That's why those choices are so important. Thankfully not everyone is the same and there *are* genuinely decent people out there. We just have to acknowledge it when it does happen and build on the good while acknowledging and improving on the bad but not harping on it. Humans are particularly unique since we can grow and be better than we were previously. Objectivity when studying humans and making judgements on a person's behaviors is really important especially since we are all so nuanced. Integrity does still exist.

It will be tough in the beginning as she learns the process of showing, marketing, and selling to prospective clients. RU-vid will take a backseat for a little bit until she gets her footing. I guarantee it is harder to do then just showing houses. RU-vid is already a full time job. Add in real estate agent and she’s headed towards burnout if she doesn’t plan everything to a T.

Don’t know if it’s the same in the Netherlands but in the U.S. an agent does a lot more of the day to day work and learns a lot of things on the job. There’s also brokers who do higher level work who, at least in my state, have to have worked a certain number of hours per week for three years before they can apply for their brokerage license.

In France you don’t need anything...anybody can be a real estate agent...

Healthcare is more about being empathetic and hardworking than it is about being smart. I know certain core classes can be tough but you should never tell yourself you're not "smart enough" for anything. I'm godawful at calculus and physics but I'm finishing up medical school right now :) if you find yourself feeling passionate about veterinary medicine you should consider taking a leap of faith!:)

@@Inquiring Thanks! I already studied Environmental Laws & Regulations and Natural Resource Law last year. Environmental Law is probably one of the most in depth areas of law that I have studied so far however, it has felt rewarding like their was a purpose to it beyond just getting a job out of it.

@@MDobri-sy1ce I'm in school to be an Interior Designer and have grown to despise it, I feel like I'm so close to a break down and its super discouraging since I always loved it but I definitely don't feel like the outcome of my career choice will be very rewarding for me personally. Im growing to become more mindful of the planet and its resources and I just feel like Interior Design does not align well with that. Hopefully I can find some more rewarding in long term goals that's still related to the field.

The title is click-bait and nobody becomes a Real Estate agent to 'help' people. That is what non-profits and volunteering are for. You will show houses for a commission and use pre-printed contracts containing waivers that removes you as an agent from any responsibility. It also does not take any real skills in any kind of craft besides having a good personality. I really like the trailer renovation videos.

@@taoist32 true! But at the same time, she already has this huge platform that she might be able to get clients easier than most and use to her advantage. She may just need to pull back from RU-vid while she gets some base starting experience in real estate but I think she’s got a huge advantage to hit the ground running as far as gaining a client base goes. Even if she gets 5-10 clients from her platform in her first year, how cool would that be?!
