I recently found your channel and I’m sooo glad I did. I’m not much of a reader, but you motivate and inspire me to want to read more. Like, I actually want to be a reader now lol. Hopefully I’ll get there one day 🤗
I would see anything you upload even if it’s a montage of you sleeping or eating or reading or scrolling on your phone ( you probably get the idea if you ( leonine ) ever see this ), I cant wait for your next video , it sounds nice .
I feel like I haven't really seen much about The Star Touched Queen but I've seen so many postive reviews of Gilded Wolves! I think I'll still add it to my wishlist though as I'm always intriuged when others don't like a book 👀
at 13:30 and 15:38 i feel like your English speaking accent became a superrr proper British accent for like 20 seconds, i loved that. any way you speak sounds lovely always!
Your description of the begining of the star touched queen really reminded me of the starless sea by Erin Morgenstern, with beautiful writing and long descriptions that almost read like fairy tales. If you enjoy that style, definitly check this one, it was incredible in my opinion! PS : about your vlogs I feel like the editing makes every one of your vlogs kind of unique and different
Have you read any of Neil Gaiman's work. I don't think he often gets grouped together with YA or Fantasy but he definitely explores these realms in very unexpected ways.
I have been binging all your vids. your vids have become my therapy. you made me want to read more books! looking forward to more videos from you 😘 lots of love from the Philippines! stay safe!!
As much as I probably wont be picking up this book I really enjoyed this video. I like both styles of vlogs with real life snippets as well as just focusing on reading so switching it up is good ☺️ also why I don’t vlog very often, people would see how boring my life is 😂
Love all of your vlogs & your personality! So much good vibes during these quarantine times. And cant wait to buy your bookmarks when you've restocked your etsy store 🥳
Are you planning on reading the rest of the hunger games trilogy? I finished the third book last night and I think it is one of my favorite books ever! I'm so happy that I am reading more books this year, it really helps that I follow booktubers now :)
This was so fun! I'm not going to read that book because meh, already got so many books to read. But, I would love to see more about your Etsy shop. :)
I just found your channel and I’m so in love with it 🥰 definitely about to binge watch your videos. I’m so worried about reading this book. It’s on my tbr so I hope I at least enjoy it a little 🤣
You made me curious as to the rating of my current/soon to read books. The lowest by far is Bunny with a 3.50 rating on Goodreads. (I'm over 1/2 way in Bunny) I don't whether that says something about Goodreads or the way we choose our books 😏 I always love your content.
Have to say I'm with everyone who's been commenting that they didn't know this book was so disliked... I remember booktube looooving it a few years back when it first came out. Weird how books age sometimes lol. I love this vlog though!! The energy was like... Something Else and I enjoyed the sassiness of it all A LOT
Interesting to hear your opinion on the star touched queen, I remember everyone raving about it 3ish years ago, and then there was talk of a movie (i think)! Do you think you'll read the sequel?
You asked for suggestion. Would you try something difficult. By that I don’t mean quantum physics. I mean philosophy proper - Descartes, Kant, Hegel, etc, not At the Existentialists’ Cafe things. Would you try Plato’a “Symposium”, or your fellow citizen Spinoza’s “Improvement of Inderstanding”?
I love your reading vlogs! That's so unfortunate that the book took a negative turn for you :( I remember when it came out and I was so interested in reading it based on the synopsis so it's unfortunate that many of the reviews are so meh
love the montages in your vlogs! but I get it, with social distancing our lives have become... more boring than usual? hahaha speaking for myself here. btw there's a companion novel in this series called A Crown of Wishes, it reads as a standalone but i think it's set in the same world? anyways, i havent read it yet but have heard better reviews for that than Star Touched Queen! in case you still want to read more Roshani Chokshi. I think Star Touched Queen was also her debut novel (i think).
Jananie, from the Booktube channel thisstoryaintover, really loved The Star-touched Queen!! You should check her channel 🥰 (Just saying this because you said you've never seen a booktuber enjoying that book haha)
