True, all of his animations in cutscenes are stilted and awkward, and he's a robot sure, but he's also the ULTIMATE COMBAT ROBOT.

The fact that the director wanted an emotionless voice doesn't really work tho, considering Omega has already been voiced twice by 06 and he had plenty of emotion. And by plenty I mean anger.

@@xacmashe3852 i know right? its the terrible direction, and what kills it even more is the disgusting voice filter. it's such a nothing filter!! it isn't your standard tri-tone filter that omega had stapled in his voice TWICE before this portrayal of him. it just ruins it all even further

@@romdan7136 its a tri-tone filter! it's a filter that is comprised of three tracks: a base track (thats my original recording!), a pitched up track, and a pitched down track. i added some compression a few times over, and sometimes i add an echo filter or a reverb filter if i want to.

@@scrillow Dang, that sounds like a pain to have to apply to every section of dialogue. I give you props for it.

@@romdan7136 it used to be! i found out my recording program has a way to make multiple effects turn into a single process. all i have to do is click the preset i made, and it'll do all the work :) the filter takes a long time to process, however

Good, not the sad scene doesn't make me laugh anymore. I can take Omega seriously. (actually, Rouge needs a redub too, she sounds like a man here. Mephiles and Shadow are fine).

I don't know of any other roles done by Maddie before she passed, but to be fair, I'd put more blame on the direction. They wanted a soulless robot, and according to her, it was tough to sound like thst.

@@celerygreenhouse yes you're absolutely right!!! she is such an inspiration to so many people more fun facts!!! sonic 06's omega was portrayed by maddie blaustein! she was born intersex, and assigned male at birth. she transitioned to female later in her life. from what i heard, it was tough for her to portray omega in sonic 06 because of how terribly she was directed by the voice directors (i believe she could have absolutely nailed a similar portrayal to that of john st jon, if she was given a chance to) her most notable role is one of the original voices of meowth in the pokemon animated series, where she started voicing meowth in episode 31 :D she can also be heard in various 4Kidz dubs. she can be heard in episodes of yugioh gx, sonic x, kirby right back at ya, and one piece :)
