Thank you Captain and you have a 26ft boat that's an excellent size hopefully you can make that trip one day when you're prepared to make it. Thank you for watching captain
Hi Captain, Another awesome video, yeah that yacht had some nice lights on it huh ! Like a casino boat Lol . Enjoy your stay and have a safe passage back to port and Thanks for letting us into your life on your crooked pilot house . Glenn
Love your setup Cap, have you thought about building an insulated box for the generator? Maybe something to help keep it out of the elements as well. I have no doubt you have the skills to do it, I think it's probably a matter of space. Keep up the awesome videos, your fans love them! So inspiring in Today's crazy times +1 on the real maple syrup
Cool idea cap. but you are right no room in this boat to build more , and yes in this terrible times we need something to take our minds away from it all, thanks for watching cap.
Thank you Williams when you anchor at Sand is very easy to pick up anchor all you do is move forward on your boat and then use your winless and it's up very easy
Hi Captain. Bahamas are doing an excellent job with COV. If affected they contact trace everyone within 3 degrees of separation, and quarantine every one of them. That's how you do it! In Ft. Lauderdale they have National Guard out. There's a big quarantine FEMA trailer center that popped up at Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. No contact tracing. They're just letting it spread to achieve Herd Immunity as quick as possible. Crazy. You're in the safety zone. Stay there 😂.
I agree with you Captain here they don't do as much as possible to control it but other countries are trying to do better I think we're behind and it's going to get bad for us
We really love watching you catch and then cook the lobster. I wish I had a way to share your video with Smithfield Foods, Smithfield, VA. so they could provide royalties (or free bacon) for everytime you film being in your refrigerator.
Another great, relaxing video Cap. I'm watching it from Big Game Club as we speak, locked down here until the end of the month then heading down to the Exumas. No inter-island travel allowed!
...a good quiet place to hide out..lol..i feel i am out of the house fishing with you and the day slips by a little faster..i appreciate you are not talking doom and gloom like a lot of others. i think you give us viewers hope for a better world...thanks and keep safe..
Thank you Bob and yes this beautiful ocean and islands and reefs are waiting for us as soon as this is over we'll be jumping on it. There's A Beautiful World they're waiting for us captain
I used to eat Lobster omelets at Captain Bob's in North Bimini. I knew bob when he was alive and I met his wife once. Bob was a local fisherman and I used to see Guy Harvey's artwork at the Orginal angler before it burned down. Your video reminds me of all the years I did Lobster Miami Season in Key West on my buddy's boat. My buddy really knew Key West lobster spots because he was in the Navy in Key West for years. I hope to do Lobster Mini Season if I can get a dive buddy to go with me and my boat is working that week.
It sounds like you have a lot of experience is a Bimini that's awesome and yes once you know the spots where to get lobsters you can get lobsters a lot faster
Out On The Reef I am pretty effective at harvesting lobsters, but never did lobster harvesting in the Bahamas yet. I’m old now so you’re living my dream. Stay safe.
Need hot sauce. Great job captain. Spending my time on the lake away from everyone also. Take care !! Bacon egg and lobster wrap sounds pretty good also.
Thank you Rodney and it sounds like you having a good quarantine yourself captain and yes Lobster bacon that's a good recipe thank you for letting me know forgot about that navigate safe captain
Thank you for watching my channel captain and now I am using one anchor that I find is one of the best is the Delta and I believe it's like 14 lb I think I have the link in the description below if you want to check it out
I recently started watching all your videos. Awesome job very informative, your efforts are much appreciated. Very organized and your descriptions of things help a lot with the details. Any advice on the current situation in Bahamas? I am thinking of heading down from NY.
Out On The Reef Yes me too. When you do go and check in to customs and immigration what is needed? Passport of all on boat? What other info on boat? Thanks Cap!
@@ericm4975 you need everybody's passport and only one person gets off the boat before you register the rest of your crew stays on board till registration also bring your boat registration with you
Awesome channel Cap. Love all the links for the products you use. I am curious, what sunglasses are you wearing and how do you like them. Good luck to you and stay safe.
Thank you Captain and yes if you look at the video now all the way in the bottom of the links I place the link for the sunglasses hope you like them they're really nice and they're polarized
Also i would be very very happy if you will try to put 2 3 tablespoons of beer over the egs before you make an omlet. Also try with some milk. You will get the best fluffy omlet ever! Please try it on your next video...Tks Cap
Great Video! Cap, binge watching your videos, i come up with something: Could you make 2 hinges for your seat pitch and use it as a table? Basic the seat pitch will fold over the seat?
Hi OOTR, Here I am again, watching your video while I'm eating lunch (ham and cheese bagel), watching you eat like you're in a gourmet restaurant! Yes I am jealous, but I'm happy for you! I've read that a lot of boat ramps are closed in Florida; since we don't know the time-line of your trips and when you post, I hope you are already safe at home....
Thank you Captain I'm glad you enjoying the videos. And ham Bagel sounds really good right now too. For now everything is okay but I'll keep you updated thank you for watching captain
Always enjoy watching your videos. I like how you show the process of living at sea. Would you consider dedicating a small portion of your next video to demonstrating how you anchor for the night so that you feel safe from drifting? Be safe out there Captain...Regards, Folly Beach, SC
I did it in the past and dust last longer but I am here almost four days at a time I need a supply of ice all the time especially when I'm putting Hot Fish and lobsters into the cooler
Bro happy quarantine! I have a question, do you keep running your fridge , your AC and your ice maker 24H? Everything runs with the generator? I have a project boat and I would like to know
I don't run the generator all the time I usually run the generator from 6 p.m. all the way to 9 in the morning and in that time all the batteries are recharged and I don't need to run it again and the fridge batteries can run for 3 days without being recharged but what I do is I recharge them everyday so they're fully charged to the top but if I need to run the generator all day that is no problem I can still do that too. I hope you have a good success with your project Captain if I can help in any way please let me know
They might be closed now but hopefully soon. Open them up the reason they closed it is because a lot of people party in the sand bars and they get too close to each other
Gracias capitán por todos sus consejos. Manténgase seguro usted también y su familia. Le pregunto capi, ése nuevo radar, tiene la capacidad de advertirle sobre algún tráfico que se acerca peligrosamente ,aunque usted no lo esté viendo?
I always do and if they tell you something then you can get off but they told me that you can use the SandBar the beach that was their answer when I asked him they just don't want us to go in the island
Hello out on the reef, nice vid beautiful sunset 🌅 wow, I can tell you’re a Cuban decent from the moment you add brown sugar to your coffee ☕️ 😂. Safe sailing Capt.👍🙏🇨🇺
Your wife is missing out on some great meals. Thank you for sharing details on your great adventure. Super impressed by the clean installation of the electrical outlets - did you do that yourself? I hope you have calm seas for your return voyage.
Yes I did all the electrical work myself thank you and I'm taking home the Snapper and some lobsters for my wife when she is in quarantine right now like everybody else
I may have missed it in the video but what were those seas that day I'm kind of curious to get an idea of what it was like? I think if I had to guess I would say about 2-3 ft at about about four seconds. It is tough to tell and picture or videos.
Another question but more of a tip: After watching many of your vids so, far I see you always use a towel on your makeshift kitchen table . . . but you never spill anything on it (amazing)! Except for that bottle of beer that went over in one vid. Why not swap the towel for a plastic table cloth folded in that same rectangular shape as the towel? Easy to clean, can't stain and would keep a beer bottle or coffee cup steadier in a rolling sea. Next decent sized order I do from Amazon, the day before I will click on one of your links first as a thank you for your interesting vids.
Thank you so much Stone for your great suggestion and also for supporting my channel and definitely is Right a plastic cover is a lot better for spills I just been lucky that I haven't spilled anything yet but you're right I'm just waiting for disaster tapping LOL thanks so much Captain for you're looking out for me👍👍⚓🏝
@@OutOnTheReef Ya I'm hooked on your vids. Its like i'm on the boat out there with you. They are very well done. I use an Elliptical machine everyday for exercise, so watching your vids keeps me looking forward to my exercise sessions. My 2007 Lund Aluminum is only 15 feet. We use it in NY mostly. The Hudson River. Lake George (a 32 mile boating paradise) and the 132 mile Lake Champlain which runs in between NY and VT (should have been named one of the "Great Lakes"). 2 weeks ago I swapped my 12 year old Mercury 40 hp 4 stroke for a 2020 40 hp Yammy (40 hp is the boat's max). Amazing how much quieter and smaller its form factor is over the Merc.
Omg that very nice and delicious lobster..you are lucky to self quarantine on sea but me on cabin wood can't go anywhere till the further notice.. Very good idea to save water well done.. anyway becareful out there captain..
I can never depend on solar because I have an ice machine refrigerator Chargers and a lot of the things running and solar will never replace the batteries on time
Hola !
Hey brother first time checking out your vids. You’ve got guts my man crossing in that weather in a 21footer. Quick question on the face shield. I’m simply curious what was the reason for wearing full time? Thanks and keep up the great work. Joey
Hey Skipper 👍 awesome vids bro! How many grill sessions do you get outta one bottle. Approx! Thanks man great work. We're meeting up in Nov when I get down there for a fishing trip. I've got plenty of room on board👍
lo que no se por que me sale que pusiste el video hace 9horas y a mi me entro hace una hora a mi amigo le llega la notificacion primero que a mi no se por que
No worries Tony soon they'll have to open them back so my recommendation to you is do some maintenance on your boat rotate the tires on the trailer change the oil do all those things that you usually don't have a lot of time so that way your boat is ready for the summer
@@OutOnTheReef Yessir, this weekend im removing the prop to make sure no fishing line got in there and im replacing the brackets that hold the bunks to the trailer.
That's a great idea Ryan but since I have lobsters in the cooler it's a little slimy water so I wouldn't use that on the ice machine but if the water was clean yes you're right I could use it. Thanks for the great suggestion captain
Out On The Reef oh yeah that makes sense, I was thinking about just ice in a cooler for drinks, but if there are fish or lobster in the cooler it would be dirty water
Out On The Reef keep up the good work on these videos, I love your little crooked pilothouse, just discovered your channel very recently and have been enjoying the videos.
I do but the weight of the boat is so heavy in the back from the water in the fuel generator and also the cooler that is very hard to lower the bow of the boat
Thank you Captain the generator dust 8 to 10 hours per gallon of fuel 1.2 gallons to be exact depends also on the loan on a medium load you can do close to 8 hours
@@OutOnTheReef what was that at the 4:29 mark that swam by the people swimming. Keep up the videos Captain. I own the same boat and do tuna fishing in the northeast. I love watching your videos and wanted to do the same thing here for tuna fishing.
@@OutOnTheReef I have seen the many upgrades that you have done to your boat and I have even done a couple of your upgrades to my boat as well. however there is one upgrade that I have done that may interest you. deck space is key on a small boat. one thing that I have done on mine is a roof rack on the top of the pilot house. I have the cooler mounted up on top of the roof freeing up a lot of deck space. it may interest you as well.
Hello out on the reef I just found your videos and I have subscribed to your channel love your contents I live in Connecticut. But was wondering why do you cover your face in your videos
LoL u escape from Zombie land..😀😀😀 many 112 yacht with LED from lux Brand...feel like disneyland on ocean..so colourfull..enjoy the day capt ..back to zombie land again
