this past year has been an incredible journey of discovery. After finding this channel, i had the opprotunity to obtain a wealth of history books from an estate sale for a man whom dwelled in all things historical and meaningful. I have already read through one of the books and am working on another. Finding these books and this channel has given me a sense of purpose after a long period of time feeling listless. I can't help but feel immense emotions digging into history and all that it offers. Thank you for presenting these videos to us all!

I just found your videos tonight and really have enjoyed them. I really appreciate how some people like yourself have turned this unusual time in history into something creative and positive instead of just complaining. Years ago my late husband, myself, and our 2 young (at the time) daughters moved to a small village in Alaska that was only accessible by plane. It was on the northern arctic coast. Polar bears and everything. We were there 8 years and it was the best thing for our young family. It was a close knit community and we also spent a lot of quality time as a family that we wouldn't have back in a larger city. Our kids even experienced Santa visiting by dog sled!

I'm telling you, the ghosts haven't bothered you because they don't want you to leave!

Leaving the presents in the mine is a fantastic touch. Part of me wonders, as absurd and difficult as it would be, how possible it would be to get the tree and its decorations down into the depths for someone way off in the future to find. Impractical, yes. Hilarious for that person who finds it, doubly so.
