My pap was my hero , the man that raised me from birth and molded me into the man I am today .. all that to say , it’s been a rough year but watching ur vlogs has helped me tremendously not only just this past year , but the entire time I’ve been a subscriber to this channel and ur main channel . The real reason for the bird cage is insurance and municipal codes. You either have to fully fence in the yard (cant even have picket, gotta be closed tight) and block the view or build the bird cage. Most choose the cage because it also stops bugs and helps filter some light which helps regulate temperature of the patio

Just as a FYI, yes, Florida has plenty of gators, snakes, spiders, Palmetto bugs (flying cockroaches) and other nasties. I live in Florida and it's always been an adventure with wildlife in certain areas, but the most interesting are the gators. They enclosed the pool because of the pond/lake behind the house which may have gators. There's gators in golf course water hazards, sometimes they're part of the game in my view ("Survival Golf"). When I worked at The Cape for Boeing, I drove past gators who were along the roadside. That's life in Florida. Hurricanes, gators, snakes, flying bugs, love bugs (seasonal), it makes life intersting. Anyway, love your videos on Donut Operator and Operation Donut. Also, you and your wife are awesome. I love her attitude. You are a kick ass couple. I'd love to meet you both.
Using f stop is great for adjusting lighting too. My rule of thumb is smaller the f stop more light/more blur, bigger the f stop less light and less blur. Coupled with iso - lower iso = less light / higher iso = more light but more grainy over 800.
I had no idea having a screen around your pool was unique to FL. I lived in NC for a few years and I'm pretty sure everything there was screened in too. Interesting
