Because your results came back positive for cancer, the hospital should have called you. You also shouldn't have to google by yourself to understand the results. A doctor should have sat down with you and explained and tell you what to expect and what your treatment options are. Our African hospitals are really disappointing.

Sorry to hear your story. I am generally disappointed in most African doctors. I have recently lost relatives due to medical negligence. No money, no consultation, no treatment. A high number of doctors have forgotten their Hippocratic oath. For those doctors who are still following their calling of service, I SALUTE YOU🙏🏿

God bless you for your courage and tell the story, I also went through the same thing. I always felt pain during sex with my husband, so I had myself checked and during that time I blamed myself so much for always allowing my husband coming back to me. Cut story short I then did my first pap smear it came out positive but I was in denial, a year later did the pap smear same results again, this time the doctors told me I must urgently remove my uterus and was only given a week for an operation. So many things went into my mind I had to turn to God for strength. Operation was in 2020 June, today I'm so grateful to God he gave me a second chance to life. Despite all I'm a mother to two beautiful girls and granddaughter, so very grateful to the Almighty God.

Reading through this shows we all go so much, I was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 4, I had been going to the hospital since 2021 after heavy bleeding, I first told it was fibroid, but a growth was noticed, biopsy was done it said malignant, months after I had a second biopsy done it came back negative, did pap smear it came back negative. I moved on to have fibroid surgery done in 2022, fast forward to 2024, I felt pain to both sides of belly went back to the hospital had CT scan done, it came back with blockage of urinary tube, more test done it came back cervical stage 4 but MRI. I believe God for help and now on second chemo.

Sorry sister for this sad situation but God was generous enough to give you a child. Your situation was God's proper plan.

Ohh my how ignorant was the first hospital not to call you and the other doctors not to walk you through the process in a humane way. It’s soo unfortunate that people go to be doctors not as a calling but to make money. They will all answer before God. You are blessed to have another lease at life. God loves you, live to serve him.

I remember how I cried for an hour as I watched my results on the computer screen and as the doctor relayed them to me! it is never theeasiest news, I remember emptying my drawers and removing personal information from the work computer, I thought I will never work again! Am still walking the journey but am alive and couragious to face the monster. One day Justus, I hope I can sit on that chair and tell my story.... Caro you are a great couragious woman....

I have a fear of going for breathing cancer screening...my right boob sometimes has sharp pain,and discharge ever. My son I 10 years now stopped breastfeeding for 8yrs now.
