I've been keeping a little secret about my makeup routine lately. My super quick and fresh 5 minute face lately has been thanks to a new concealer from one of my favorite clean beauty brands, Kosas. I think it wears quite well but I am in Utah in 40 degree temps. I want to hear how it does in warmer weather with a bit of humidity. Will you be reviewing the Ilia serum foundation soon? I love hearing what you think about these things. Thanks!!!!

This makes me so happy! I've beem trying to let my skin "reset itself" by letting it breathe and wearing less makeup. I've been using the tinted oil from Kosas to just touch up the angry spots on my face and make them look more chill. After watching your video the concealer was an instant buy for me and I can't wait to try it out for myself!💛

Hi Kackie!! You made me buy some of the Kosad products yesterday and i absolutely LOVE them! I have super oily t-zone and the tinted oil is so perfect on my skin i don’t get super oily and this is the only foundation that stay beautiful the whole day! I also got the concealer and everything melt together and make my skin flawless! Thank you so much for showing those products and making me change completely the way that i see and use makeup! Amazing video as usual i never commented but i have been watching alot ❤️

I've been so excited to check this out! My current 5 min face consists of the Kosas tinted oil and Tropic Equinox, a swipe of some Nudestix on the eyes, and Glossier lips. As a work at home mom, 5 mins is a necessity. I love that Kosas looks beautiful and effortless and not rushed (like you only had 5 mins to get ready).

I wasn't sure if there was a good concealer to go with this skin tint so was holding off. Now is the time!!! ....but I also want the wear test lol

You have really great reviews. I’m really interested in trying this concealer as I’m a bit older and it seems that most concealers just look...not great on me. This one seems like a winner. Have you tried it with other foundations by chance? And how did it seem to perform when not paired with the tinted face oil?

I also love the Kosas Tinted Face Oil, though I'm not sure I got the undertone right. It's so forgiving, it probably doesn't matter, but it MIGHT matter with the concealers. You didn't talk about undertones (or I missed it - sor!), and wondering what your analysis is on these shades? I got a shade 4 in the Oil. I think the 3.5 is more neutral, but it's also lighter/fairer, so I had to make the call between possibly too yellow and too fair. I think I'm OK with the 4, but can you advise on the undertones of the concealer shades? Thank you!

They recommended shade 3.5 to me but, after seeing that you wear shade 1, I am now worried. Which shade of RMS would you compare shade 1 to? I wear 00 or 11. I have been doing some stealth watching of your videos for a while so finally subscribed :)

Do you think any of the darker shades work as a cream bronzer for pale girls? I used the tropic equinox for bronzer last summer (after you recommended it!), but it’s ‘spensy and I couldn’t go through it before it expired. Wondering if one of these might be a better choice, or if it would just look muddy.

I ordered the 3.5 and the color match was no bueno. For a neutral it was far too yellow. I may try it again if they ever come out with some cooler shades.

kackie, their preservative is actually sodium benzoate!! the rosemary also probably plays a role, but the main preservative in this is sodium benzoate (far more effective as a preservative than rosemary)

I got a sample of the skin tint from Sephora and didn’t love it. It showed every imperfection and just looked super oily everywhere, not a pretty dewy look. Any tips for applying? I think it just probably isn’t my thing.

I’ve tried shade 1 and 2 in the tinted face oil and they were too dark. I saw that they said the concealer shades are coordinated to the face oil shades. Do you think shade 1 in the concealer is lighter than shade 1 in the face oil? It looks so pretty on your skin!! Thank you!!

I truly hope Kosas extends their shade range (and reconsiders what a “cool” undertone actually means!). I’m VERY fair and neutral, skewing a bit cool. I get redness, so neutral undertones are better to cancel the redness and balance my skintone. My skin is also highly finicky and reactive. I have never found a liquid concealer I can use without reactions, so I’ve been on the hunt. I decided to try this as the ingredients look promising. I bought Tone 1, which is described as having cool undertones. I thought if anything, it might not cover the redness well enough. Well, I am sad. My skin likes the formula, but it’s too dark and yellow. I can’t use it. No amount of blending helps. I end up looking sick. If they come out with a lighter, truly neutral (or cool) shade, I’m game to try that. But otherwise...back to the drawing board it is. 😪 It looks lovely on you, though! ❤️

@@analuna4793 : Glad I could help! I did end up buying Tone 0.5, and it is a MUCH closer match. Pretty neutral, leaning SLIGHTLY yellow (on me), so I use sparingly and blend well, and it seems to work!

So excited! I have the ilia concealer and I like it... but it doesn’t mix with Kosas skin tint as well. Often when I use the face oil, I just opt for no concealer... I just hate the look of creased concealer even more than my eye bags. Can’t wait to see your review of the Ilia skin tint that just came out. I thought about jumping on it, but I want your opinion first. 😂

The Kosas is oil based. It’s best worn with oil based foundations in my opinion, while the colourpop is much more silicone-y. So that will affect how it performs best depending on what foundation you’re planning on wearing it with!

Wow I'm so surprised that you use Shades 1. I don't really think of you as a porcelain skin color 🤔. I'm glad I watched this because I was going to order shades 3 based on their description but that will be far too dark as I'm definitely a couple of shades more fair than you are. Hopefully they add some lighter shades 🤷 It looks amazing on you!

Ok, I will say it but Kosas is not good with their shade range! The tinted oil and the concealer are so yellow based and don't suit the paler/darker skintones. Even their blushes, they turn SO yellow on my skin, it's crazy... and frustrating because the formula is amazing. Still love their lipsticks though!
