My roommate has also been down for a couple weeks with what he thought was strep or Covid but he tested negative for both. I think everyone keeps forgetting the cold and flu still exist.

Glad your getting up on your feet brother. Makes me happy. Don't overdo it. Just do what your able to do without pushing yourself. Because you'll hurt/wear yourself out... I don't know about any other person but I am perfectly 100% content with a short 10 minute to 15 minute video whenever. Take it easy an rest up when you can.

Hey Dan I hope you’re feeling okay, noticed it’s been a bit since you’ve posted.

Tiz the season bro...I've been hit with sickness in the past weeks and it really sucked feeling fucked up and being tired all the time(had a week where I slept 10 hours almost every night). I'm getting better but it's taking a long time to get back to normal levels of energy(still like only like 70% there) , you just gotta takes things slow and not rush into intensive activity after your body has taken a beating. Holidays are also kinda stressful mentally for most people. Hope yours goes as well as planned. Peace out!

I feel you Dan, I've had those same symptoms for about a week now. I'm gonna say it's a cold or something. Don't wanna think of the other possibility.

I've had that head cold feeling where you constantly feel dizzy and eyes can't focus. almost every time it was an ear infection for me. The fluids in the ear basically are out of balance or there is swelling from irritation. Hope you feel better!

You should get one of those navage things. I have one because I get sinus infections often and since I’ve bought it at the beginning of the year I’ve only had 1.

That sinus infection youre feeling, Ive got it, my GF has it, my mom has it, my dad has it, my GFs family has it and about half my friends have it. Pretty sure its just a cold, but fuck it sucks getting sick right after you just got done being sick

Metal in the eye is no joke. My dad and grandpa are both welder/fabricators and have dealt with it numerous times. My grandfather is actually blind in one eye because he got a piece in his eye and they couldn't locate an entry point and it wasn't hurting so they left it. Eventually his eye turned orange. The eye itself is still good but the lens is ruined. Nowadays they can fix that easily, but since he's been blind in that eye for 35+ years and his other eye is great, insurance deems it elective/cosmetic surgery. So if he ever loses sight in his other guy, then he gets to fix the first one lol. Long story short, wear your fuckin' glasses when you grind.

I'm just throwing this out there but on the slanted piece why don't you put a lip at the bottom and put a wireless charger, And that thick piece of MDF I don't think it will do good with the toggles or switches maybe think about switch it over to a thinner piece of plywood. I had a badass case of the flu 2 weeks ago that i thought was covid but it was just a strain of the flu that is pretty rarely found and it put me in the hospital for 6 days

Dan posted, gotta watch this shit first. Also, do you wax your table saw? I threw some paste finishing wax on everything I have that slid (table saw, circular saw, straight edge and a few other things) and it made a world of difference. Didn't realize how bad it was before, I can never go back to sliding it in dry 🤣

Take care of yourself Dan, it could be a few things, don't forget that long-COVID is a thing (medical term; PASC) could be that, there is a nasty RSV strain (respiratory virus) going around, and a few flu strains, including H1N1. It doesn't have to be COVID to smack you a bit. Work through it, but know your limits, stay safe.
