Get ready to have your social life end as you slip down the rabbit hole of Supernatural, wondering what time of day it is, what day, what month. I can say for myself, 15 years later, having watched every season many times, it was 100% worth it. They’ll never be another show like it.

I was a late arrival to SPN. Didn’t start watching until I retired in 2019. Now, several rewatches later, I’m fully obsessed. The good thing about starting late is that the only season I had to wait on was the last (and the Covid delayed ones). Would have been awful to have to wait the summer for the new seasons.

That is how it works! They do "monster of the week" eps while always continuing the main storyline. The story will build and pick up until season 5 when we get to the culmination. It's epic! After that, for me, seasons 6 &7 are a bit of a lull over all but season 6 especially has some of the best and funniest eps in the whole show. It'll start to build back up again in season 8 and that will lead into a huge story arc that will finish in season 11. Then yet another huge story for the last seasons. The one thing that carries through all 15 seasons is that it always revolves around family (blood and chosen).

great tip: whenever you feel like Supernatural is losing your attention (which will not happen till after season 5) remind yourself how hot and talented these asshats are. especially after season 4. even at its worst, Supernatural is better than all of CW lineups, minus Superman and Lois. Supernatural is better than a LOT of tv period.

Fun fact: originally their car was going to be a Shelby Mustang cause the director wanted a car that could fit a body in the trunk. They ended up going with the Impala because it was more of a "family" car the boys could have grown up in

Some episodes get absolutely wacky in later seasons, but at the same time, it's the characters you've grown to love. Especially when we watched it as the seasons came out... 15 years of our life watching this show through thick and thin and loving the characters and the stories, no matter how crazy they got. Fans are the reason it went on so long, and while they could've wrapped up the story sooner, I'm glad we got to see every side of the show. My bf thought this show was for girls and I finally convinced him watch it ( like 10 years ago when we first started dating) and it's one of his favorite shows now.

Thinking about S1 they really did hit the ground running, the first episode and this weren’t weighed down by too much exposition. Everyone’s relationships and reasons for doing what they do just fit in naturally each episode and viewers got the picture. At least three of my favorite episodes are from this season and one that I think is a clunker. No spoilers, won’t say which either way but I’m so looking forward to seeing you experiencing all of them for the first time.

Donnelly Rhodes, who played Mr. Shaw, the older man who survived the Wendigo attack when he was younger, is also known for his role as Dutch on the sitcom Soap (in which Billy Crystal played gay character Jodie Dallas) and many other shows over the years.

You’ll love all 15 seasons...this was one of the best tv shows ever! I am just re-watching them again for the 20-30th time (as I am, like many others an addict of this show) and am almost again at season 5 🥰 make sure you watch all the way to the end of season 15...you def won’t be disappointed!! 😁#jointhehunt #Winchesterbros

Seasons 1-5 are all connected and the format is monster of the week until the season 5 finale where it's about a big bad. Seasons 6-15 is a big bad while doing a monster here and there. I can't wait for your reaction to their 200th episode 🤣 So fun story about Jared and Jensen and their entire run on SPN. In 15 seasons they only ever had one fight. They were in each other's faces yelling and screaming at each other. They went to their trailers for a few hours and cooled off and Jensen went to Jared's trailer and they apologized and said that can't ever happen again. While Sam and Dean may have some nasty onscreen fights. Jared and Jensen never had another one. They just pranked people because they were idiots. They mainly pranked one cast member after he joined the show.

It usually only takes one or two to completely hook someone. Can’t wait for episode 3, no matter how many times I rewatch this show it’s just as good as the first time. The Wendigo is one of my all time favorite season 1 episodes, lots more set up of the plot and shows more character profiling for the boys. Bit classic and cliche as far as horror tropes go but still such a classic episode. After everything they’ve yet to experience in future seasons I love going back to the less complicated early and very horror leaning theme that is the first three seasons.

I literally just found your channel through Supernatural. Welcome to the show and be prepared to be shocked, emotional and wrecked because this is one of those shows that will forever be in the back of your mind. Especially later on when the messages the show tells start to get heavier and more clear. You're gonna love it, especially with the characters that are yet to be introduced like Bobby or Castiel or Charlie and their relationship with the brothers. It's really cool and pretty unique to have a show like this, so welcome!

Welcome to the SPN Family!! 😊 A lot of the first season is what they call, Monster of the Week episodes, but there is still a backstory through line in the season. But after season one there are much bigger and involved story arcs. The MOTW episodes are always part of the show, and I love them, but the story arcs are also INCREDIBLE!! Can't wait for you to see them! 😊

Pretty sure I've watched some of your reactions before, but I'll be sticking around now... this show is literally one of my favorites ever, one of the first shows where I REALLY forced myself to keep up with every episode. There are some dips in the writing, but it stays pretty consistently great through all 15 seasons.

@@TravisViews You did 1 season in 1 day, that's determination and or Hyperfocus ....I mean I used and still have that with cassets and audiobooks that are supposed to make you "fall asleep" but I always needed to hear the 2 sides to know how the story ends.

Yes. Please try for as much for the rest of season 1 if you can, to not use the Netflix version. I think Amazon prime may have the original music (the blurays definitely do) but Netflix does not until season 2. The music plays a huggge role in the show, especially episode 12.
